When I got to the hospital, everybody that knew Laura was downstairs. "Hey momma, where's the room" I ask.
"You finally made it, where you been" she said.
"In baton rouge, why you didn't tell me she gave birth" my mom chuckle and shook her head.
"I forgot baby, I'm sorry"
"Anyways, where's the room" I ask so excited.
"Why you so excited, you act like it's your baby" maybe because she is.
"Mom come on, this is my best friend I'm talking about, she just gave birth to my godchild"
"Ok fine, she's in room 101, 2nd floor" she pointed to the elevator.
"Thanks momma" I kiss her cheek then walk away. I press the button on and waited for it go up. Finally I was on the 2nd floor. 'Wheres room 101' I walk back and forth.
"Excuse me, where is room 101" I ask the lady. She pointed to a door which was right behind me.
"Thanks" I walk to the door and knock. I heard a manly voice saying come in. "Hey baby girl"
"Odell you made it" I hug Laura. "Prince your time is up"
"Alright fine, I'm going find dad real quick"Prince walk out the room. I look at Laura holding the baby.
"This her" I said.
"Yeah this her, Lauren" I sat on the bed admiring her. She was so beautiful close-up. "Want to hold her"
"Yes please, been waiting for this" we both laugh. I held Lauren in my arms. Ima keep saying it, she so beautiful.
"Wow" I said. "We did a great job" I laugh.
"We sure did"

Ima update on the weekend because this week I'm so busy with school and finals. Also had to type 7 poems about Macbeth. 😒😠😞
