I drove all the way to New Orleans for a picnic or barbecue party for Laura mom promotion. Of course I came to see my lil baby girl Lauren but I have to keep it cool. My peeps still don't know about Lauren being mines.

"I can't wait to see this little girl you been talking about, she your sis"my friend kavahra said.

"I have a sister, jasmine"--"nah my girlfriend Laura had a baby name Lauren"

"Congratulations, I didn't know you had a baby"he chuckle.

"Yeah, but parents don't know that she's mines"i sigh.

"Damn, you better tell them"

"I will"--"and it's gone be today"

{Laura house}

I walk in the house looking around. I can hear the music playing in the backyard and people laughing. "Hi"some girl came up to me.

"Hey, where is everybody"I ask.

"In the backyard or in the kitchen"she said then walk outside. I walk to the kitchen seeing my mom and Lisa talking with some other women.

"Hey my baby"my mom kiss my cheek. "Who this"

"This is kavahra, my friend from college"Jarvis shook her hand but my mom was a hugger.

"Your dad outside, and your siblings are outside too"I nod my head and walk outside. I saw little children running and jumping in the pool. When I turn to my left, I saw Ashanti with Laura brother prince.

"What the hell she doing here"I mumble. She look at me and roll her eyes. I walk up to my dad and tap his shoulder. 

"Wassup son, how is college"he hug me.

"It's fine dad, thanks"I said. "This is kavahra"

"Hi you doing, you play football too"my dad ask.

"Yes sir, I do"he shook his hand. While they was talking, I slip away going inside. I walk up the stairs to Laura room and open it. She jump looking at me then cover her chest.

"Odell knock next time"she roll her eyes.

"What you doing"I sat on the bed.

"Getting dress"

"Oh, where is Lauren"I ask.

"She's sleep, finally"laura put on her chain.

"We need to talk"

I walk inside looking around the house. I saw pictures of Laura and her mom smiling. When I saw Odell, I knew who that baby was for. The baby looks like him, these people are blind. I walk up the stairs and ease drop on their lil conversation.
