I jolted awake from my slumber. I had started to pant and sweat, as if I had just woke up from a nightmare or a strange dream. Oh yeah, I just did. Taking in my surroundings, I find that I was back in my little cave. Fenikkusu looked up at me, looking a bit worried. I reassure him by smiling and petting the top of his head. After calming down a bit, I looked at the night sky.
It seems about to be about 12.....Well, there's probably no chance of me going back to sleep, might as well get going.
I looked back up at the sky. It had what seems to be a million stars, that lit up their dark surroundings, along with a pure white crescent moon. It was one of those things that only showed once in a life time. I stepped out of the cave and stretched, then turned to get my bike. Sometime while I was in the mist of getting my bike out of the cave, it started to snow once more. I groaned. After a moment of struggle and frustration, I finally got my bike out of the cave. Fenikkusu flew to my shoulder, where he rested for the remainder of the journey. I hopped on my bike, and headed to Ichiba Square.
As the moon slowly start to fall, the snow started to glisten within the moonlight. The scenery slowly changed from one with darkness in every corner, to one felt rather mystical and calming. I stared in awe at my surroundings, and felt a type of ease. That slowly faded once I soon saw the end of the fields. I once I made it out of the fields, I stopped to look back at the dead Sakura trees. I after a moment of silence, I soon continued onward to the dragon stables.
After crossing another set of hills, I am soon able to make out the faint outline of the Musume Bay. Even at 2 am, this port is still awake. Many lights still shone throughout the night. I sigh in relief, knowing that I'm almost to my destination. I carry on riding to the stables, which was not very far from now.
Maybe I could grab something for grandpa.......Maybe some chocolate.....Yeah chocolate.
I carried my thoughts elsewhere, after making it to town. I jumped off my bike, and started to push it to the stables. I loved the view of the ocean. I smiled to myself, remembering that this was the place I met my grandpa. I continued onward, with my head held high, and my tail raised in a cheerful type way. I started humming a tune that I kept dear to my heart. A tune that father whistled whenever he was down. A tune that mum sang when she was scared.......a tune that they hummed when their death arrived.......I shook the thought out of my head, and stopped humming. I then continued to the road for the dragon stables.
Joshi and Megan might be surprised to see me......It is a long way from my home town to Ichiba Square......Yelp, screw it.
For some weird reason, I felt very determined and cheerful. Maybe it was the upbeat style of the city, perhaps it was because I very close to my final destination, or maybe because I just was just plain out happy. I finally make it to the road to the dragon stables. I leap back on my bike, checking one last time that I have everything, and start to head down the road.
I finally make it to the dragon stables. By this point, I was panting. It took a lot longer than expected. Fenikkusu jumps off my shoulder to go wonder somewhere. I was pretty relax, mainly because the little road trip I had is finally finished.
But I think I got a little too cozy.
"KAEN!!!"
I practically jumped. I turn around to see a wild dog chasing after a fire dragon, which had a very scared expression. I mentally chuckled.
Joshi's at it again
