I heart practically stopped. My face was pale, and I was frozen on spot.

Grandpa!...he's the only family I have!......I.....I have to save him!

I snapped out of my trance, turned around and started to run, trying to find a way out of the stables. Over head I see Fenikkusu flying, he seemed to be looking for a exit as well. Behind me, I could hear the others shouts, trying to stop me.

Their attempts were useless though.

I wouldn't stop.

???'s Pov.

By this point, Paki and I were relaxing. We were in a room in a broken down building. Paki was currently asleep, forcing me to stay watch.

Yes, I admit it, fighting hunters can take a lot from you, but if you weren't doing most of the fighting, and in turn was trying to get the two out of there, the person fighting should be sleeping instead of you, right?

I look out of the make-shift door, otherwise known as a crack in the wall. What I see is beyond believable. I nudge Paki awake.

"Five more minutes........."

"In five minutes there won't be anyone to save."

That got her. She jolted up from the ground, obviously wide awake. She then walked over to the crack. Her eyes widen as she says, "Those people are still here!".

They seemed to be running away, until I realized they were shouting after something. Or someone. They were also joined by a raccoon.

"What the Heck are they thinking" Paki says walking back and forth.

That is, til I stopped her. I grabbed her head and turned it to the black cat that the others were chasing after. She looks at her and then looks away, only look back in disbelief. She eyes widen in realizing who that is. The black cat was currently joined by a phoenix looking bird. The three were catching up quickly. I turn to Paki. She turns to me. We nod and jump out of the crack, into the setting sun. With two words in mind, we follow silently.

It's her.

Kuro's Pov.

Come on!....Where's a way out when you need one!........

I turn around another corner, and darted inside a abandon building. I hear the others yelling my name. I also hear Fenikkusu cawing as well. Then it hit me. He was keeping track of me. That little traitor.

I waited silently until they left, moving on to tried to find where I went. I slowly stepped out of the building and looked around.

How big is this place?.......hmmmmm maybe I should've stayed with the others........ I wouldn't have gotten lost...

I groan at my own stupidity and continue to walk the opposite direction.  Only then, did I realize how beat up this place is. The whole time walking around, trying to find a exit, I felt like I was being watched. I quickly shook it off, thinking it was just paranoia from the attack.

I hear a snap somewhere, and whip my head to the noice. I stopped walking altogether, and just stated at that spot for a bit. After a while, I continue to walk again, only a bit faster. Sooner or later, I relax once more and walk at a normal speed.

You're getting off focus, Kuro.......Just keep looking for a way out..........Do this for Grandpa!

With that thought in my head, I find a exit. I smile and run over.

Bad idea.

Little did I know, someone was waiting for me. Actually, two people were waiting for me, and right as I reached the exit I get-

"Kuro!!!!!"

I whip my head around to see Jasumin a few feet behind me. I try to run, only to run it Megan and Joshi.

"Nuuuuuuuu!!!!!"

"Oh my gosh Kuro!!! Don't do that!!!!"

"What the heck were you thinking?!?"

"I was going to go back to Tamashi District"

"Oh"

"What that's it? No 'you're crazy Kuro!!'"

"Nope"

The three released me from their bone-crushing hug. "We would've help you know" said Megan. I felt dumbfounded.

"Well then, shall we be off?"

I nod, and we all start walking.

Don't worry Grandpa, we're on our way
