I stared at the girl with bright red hair and blinked. The girl looked only about 14 years old and was very petite. She wore a regular black and white school uniform with a white scarf, which had music notes on it, and a black hat. She was actually very cute, almost resembling a doll. "Our worst nightmare?", I scoffed, as I looked at her. Haru crossed his arms and moved closer to me to whisper in my ear.

"Hey. Careful, you never know anyone's powers. She could be super strong for all we know.", he cautioned wisely.

"But Haru-", I complained. How could anyone this cute be dangerous?! I shook my head. I couldn't think this way. This child could be harmful. Looks are deceiving. As I turned my head to look at Haru I felt something grasp around my ankle. My eyes widened as I looked down only to find a skeleton holding my ankle. "Hoooolyyyy shit!!!!", I screamed as it caught me off guard and pulled me off my feet. As I fell onto my back I saw Haru whom had also been startled. Closing my eyes the light blue aura appeared around me changing quickly as it did when time was continuing. I snapped and time stopped as I stood up. I pulled the skeleton's fingers off of my ankle one by one and walked towards the girl who I moved my fist towards as time started again. Time restarted right when my fist connected with the girls face. As she fell towards the ground a second skeleton crawled out of the ground and pushed her back to her feet. "Tsk. Cheat.", I complained even though the girl hadn't really hadn't cheated. She lifted her hands into the air and about 20 corpses rose from the ground.

"Aw shit. Yuuki, we need to work together.", Haru whispered in my ear. "When I start making light appear to blind her, you stop time and do your thing. Got it? For now, distract her", he explained. I replied with a swift nod and waited for his cue. His red eyes started glowing as he started up his power, that was my cue to distract. I ran at the girl who was focusing on the corpses which were now coming towards us pretty quickly.

"Just if I could slow time down....Oh well...guess I'll just have to...", I snapped and time stopped. My aura paused in its position and a cheeky grin grew on my face. "Perfect." I ran at the corpses quickly taking one out at a time. By the time that time restarted wind blew everywhere I had ran and each of the corpses fell to the ground. An expression of shock flashed over the red head's face before I gave Haru a thumbs up. Even though I had knocked out the corpses that were here already the girl could do this till she had no more energy left, and depending on how long the girl had trained she would probably be able to do it for a longer amount of time. As I thought the girl was already creating another army of her minions, I glanced back at Haru whom was getting a lot closer to creating the light. The room was extremely bright and he was glowing like a lightbulb. He gave me a thumbs up and made the countdown.

"3. 2. 1.", he motioned before I snapped and time paused light bursting through the room. The light was blinding and made my head hurt like crazy but I pushed through it. I ran towards the girl, who I could barely see anymore, and ran behind her quickly and snapped again letting time resume. Wind rushed in my trail before I pulled the girl's arm backwards tightly enough to snap her arm if she moved.

"Don't move. If you summon anymore of the skeletons I'll break your arm.", I said in a low voice that made me seem much less friendly than I truly was. Cold air surrounded me and frost covered the ground as I focused more on freezing. I wasn't great at using the cold to my advantage and only seemed to do it when I was upset, which I was right now.

"Let go of me!", the girl protested about to move but stopping herself as she felt pain in her arm. She yelped out in pain and glared at me as the corpses, which had only begun rising up again, crawled back into the ground. "Fine! I'll stop!", she exclaimed as I let go of her arm.

"Try to attack and I won't hesitate to break it.", I warned her as I started walking, Haru following behind me, holding the food we needed. "Come with us. You have some explaining to do."

Maru and I walked down the long corridor towards the weapons area for a long time until we got there. Maru climbed in first but stopped abruptly before getting off the ladder. "Hey! Maru keep going!", I yelled before starting to climb up and pushing past her. Maru was staring wide eyed at a boy with messy dark blue hair and pale skin. "Hey! What're you doing here?", I questioned to the boy in a stern voice.

"None of your business...I can do what I want.", the boy said stubbornly as he crossed his arms.

"If you don't leave I won't hesitate to kill you.", I growled at him as I pulled out my swords and glared at the stranger. "Oi! Maru snap out of it!", I said as I shook her shoulder and she looked at me with a dazed look. "What'd you do to her?!", I yelled at him as I started running at him, blinded by my anger.

"He must have cursed her or something! HE'S WITH THE GOVERNMENT KAZUTO! HE'S PROBABLY ONE OF THEM!", the voice of atari spoke in my head. I couldn't think anymore as my thoughts were filled with vengeance and bitterness. I would get revenge. I would get back at then for what they did to Leah. No matter what happened I would make them pay. I ran at the boy, who appeared to be unarmed at the moment, and pointed the blade right towards the boy's heart, ready to kill. His face twisted in fear as he ran to grab a weapon from the wall to protect himself but ended up falling over his own feet.

"P-Please! I'll leave I swear- I just-",he quivered in fear but was cut off by a searing pain in his chest. I had successfully stabbed him and black ichor was now spreading up his chest as he screamed in pain. In a few minutes the skin around the boy's chest had burned and left a gaping hole in his chest. The light had left his eyes and life left his body. Maru was staring at me with fear in her eyes, her face had gone pale, the happy smile that usually resided on her face disappeared.

"Hey. What's wrong? He was an enemy. I did what I had to...he was with the government.", I said as I walked towards her to try and see what was wrong. Maru stumbled away from me with a disgusted look. She didn't say anything before climbing down the ladder and starting to run. "Maru! Wait up!", I called out and started chasing after quickly. She turned around quickly and made a pushing moment as a large gust of wind that felt like a tornado pushed me to the ground, water splashing onto me as I landed in a puddle. Letting out a sigh I stood up and started to walk towards the base again. Maru was long gone, although we had been exercising all through the day she had managed to run off pretty quickly. On the other hand my body felt sore and it hurt to move. It was probably the exhaustion finally catching up to me. I let out a tired sigh as I step in a puddle and continue towards the base. I finally reached the ladder and climbed back to base, where Maru was sitting in a corner with Ayumi and Yuuki whom were attempting to talk to her but received no responses. Sitting on another cot was Haru and a girl with stunning red hair who reminded me of someone I had met before. The girl glanced up before looking away, it wasn't the girl who I thought it was. Haru looked at me and stood up, his face twisting in anger.

"Kazuto. What'd you do this time?!", he yelled as he crossed his arms. A look of enragement covered his face. "You really screw lots up huh! Is that your goal or are you just an idiot!?" I felt like he had stabbed me but it was really just the guilt.

"I- I don't know...it's not my fault...it all happened so fast", I muttered as I stared at Maru who was still stunned. " Thoughts rushed through my head making me feel like my head was spinning."What had I done wrong? I don't get it" , I thought to myself as I took a deep breath, walked to the cot and fell backwards onto it, closing my eyes. Haru and Yuuki yelled for a while but I was no longer listening and exhaustion had set in, bringing sleep to my dreary eyes.
