Alex’s Pov.

I woke up, with my mom violently shaking me. She always does that! I groaned, covering my face with these pillow clouds, such angels! And yes, I called them that. This place makes sleeping, much heavenly, it’s quite, cold and don’t forget the perfect bed.

“Come on honey, we have plans” Mom said, still shaking me. Seriously mom! Stop!

“No mom, you have plans” I murmured through my pillows

“ALEXANDRA JONES! Get the hell out of that bed now, or I will drag you out!” Mom words echoed in the room. Oh shit! She used my whole name and cursed, this is bad.

“Fine I’m up, I’ll come down in 10 minutes, just shoo!” I said giving up. Mess with the heavy sleeper your dead, but mess with the mother of the heavy sleeper, you’ll get double tap.

I heard the closing of the door, and footsteps fading. I groaned, and using all my will power, I sat in bed still half asleep. I rubbed my eyes, trying to make my way to reality. Since my stupid eyes, aren’t really cooperating, I stood up still with my eyes closed. I walked to the bathroom, bumping everywhere. I looked at myself on the full sized mirror, I looked ugly, as always, same old, same old. My hair was everywhere, and I mean, EVERYWHERE, the dark bags under my eyes was visible and my whole face looked like it was from a blender.

I put on a robe, that smelled heavenly I may add, then got out. Why the hell is it so dark in here? I walked over to the balcony, then opened the sliding door--------------WHAT THE HELL?! It’s still freaking dark! I ran down the stairs, going straight to the kitchen, where I saw my mom, looking so innocent cooking eggs and bacon that smelled amazing. Your food can’t help you now woman.

“Do you know what time is it?!” I shouted, putting my hands in my waist, trying to look serious.

“Uhmm...” She said, then looked at her watch “Eight in the morning“

“Exactly, then why in earth did you wake me up, this l--------------wait, eight in the morning?” I asked realizing what she just said. How could be it be eight in the morning? It looks like twilight outside.

“Yap! Sunny side up or scramble?”

“Scramble, mom aren’t you a little bit curious, why the hell it’s so bloody dark outside?” I asked my eyebrows furrowed.

“Well, I was but then I took a look around, and found everyone in town all up. Some were so nice, and decided to pay us a visit. Oh! They are such nice folks! We talked, and it was so fun to met new people and--------------

“Mooom!” I groaned, she always does that, when you ask her something she takes it to another universe, and completely forgets the question.

“What?” See?

“The question” I said annoyed, were going in circles again!

“What question?” She asked curiously, her eyebrows meeting.

“Ugh!!!! Okay, just-----I’m going for a walk” I grumbled taking my coat and putting it on.

“Okay Honey! Be here before breakfast” She shouted, when I was already out the door.

I held my coat tight realizing how cold it is. The wind was blowing so hard that I had to hold my beanie with another hand. I saw people on the streets with no coats on, how the hell can they take this? I decided to take a look around, making sure I keep my head down. But it was no use, I can feel them staring at me, their eyes making a hole in my back, I shrug it off then head on a vacant bench, far away from town. I got my I-pod then just lean back, feeling the sweet sensation of being alone. I rubbed my hands together because it felt like it was getting numb. I then took a look around, nothing out of the ordinary, just trees and green stuff.
