Alexandra's POV.

I heard the gate make that, rubbing into something rusty noise, I flinched from the sound hoping I didn't get any one's attention.

The whole campus was so huge, the green field looked like your average football field. The only concrete ground was the path from the gate going to the huge fountain in the center of the campus and then ends on the entrance of the main building.

I looked at the huge gap between me and the weird freaky building then frowned. Let me tell you, Ive never been a physical person -partly because I can't even stand still without getting a bruise.- Walking up the stairs -on our new house- was -for me- felt like running a marathon. So I don't think I can survive that, I'll bet Im going to start crawling halfway. That's it, Im gonna go get a cab.

Apparently there was no cab, so Im gonna have to take a huge risk, with my whole life on the line. Here you go Alexandra Jones. I took a deep breath, but at the exact time the oxygen enters my nostrils I swear to God I saw heads snapping to my directon.

Oh. So if its an old rusty gate creeking, we shrug it off, but if its the new girl inhaling, we look at her like she has four arms and a third eye on the center of her forehead to make her uncomfortable. Of course I get it.

By instinct I immedietly snapped my head down and started walking slowly looking at my soak flats.

There was one good thing that came out when I decided to let my hair go, it turns out it could be a good personal cave. Id rather look lika a real life the grudge than let those people strip me with their curious, amused...and weird glances.

I speed walked hoping I don't bump a random stranger. I don't even see any pair of feet -just mine- Oh great your walking all alone with you hair down completly covering your face like an evil witch. Surely nobody will know your the new girl on town. I mean why on earth would anyone even think of that. (-_-)

I bit my lip, with my head still down low. They just don't get my stop-staring-at-me-goddamn-it signals. I can feel all their gazes peeling me layer by layer. There's no need actually I already feel exposed. They were looking at me as if they know me. And I have a feeling, here in the deepest part of my soul, that I should know them too...somehow.

I almost tripped on my own feet  startled by the sound of the bell. It wasn't the sound that got me -I was actually thinking of it sounding a little bit more creepy- it sounded like a regular bell, the one you would find in any regular schools. It just snapped me from zoning out, I got pretty far today, this town just gets to me and Im not saying that as a compliment nor an insult mind you. Its just really odd.

I heard rushing pairs of feet a minute after the bell. I still refuse to look up, Ill just wait until everyone's inside. Five minutes -more or less- passed until there was utter silence. I decided to finally look up since my neck was starting to hurt from that bowing. I slowly raised my head checking the sides with the corner of my eyes. No one in sight. Releasing air -I didn't know I was holding- in a huff, I started to increase my pace. I knew I was already late.

I finally arrived at the building and was about to take my first step when a blond haired girl magically appeared in front of me. She was in my age but I was a little bit taller. She was pretty, but not enough to be classified as perfect or an angel. She had a pair of brown dazzling eyes and perfect set of eyelashes, she also had freckles on the bridge of her nose and her hair was braided to the side. Funny, she really looked a lot like---

"Hi!" She said with a huge smile on her face. She didn't have a high pitched voice like most teens today -thank God- it was a bit rough, but it still sounded very feminine.
