Alex’s Pov.

“So I guess I missed dinner, you should have told me we had guests, I would have come home earlier.” The voice coming from the mysterious man on the door said. He then took little steps forward slowly, like he was trying to create a dramatizing slow motion effect, but his eyes never left mine. He was looking at me and I don’t have the will power to look away, it feels like he was hypnotizing me and I was there lost at his beautiful blue eyes. Nathan and his eyes, look pretty much the same, but it differs on the kind of emotion it holds, Nathan’s eye were full of hope, optimism, joy and his was the exact opposite, it was cold, dark, mysterious. His accent was pretty much like everyone else, his was just deeper like it was coming from somewhere, cold and empty, no emotion was heard when he said those words. His face was blank and his features frozen, he looked pretty much, dead.

“We didn’t think you were even planning to come home.” Mr. Sandoval said, his voice filled with authority. Who is this guy? It actually seemed like I’ve seen him somewhere, the black get up, black jeans, black leather jacket, black boots. I just really can’t remember where. Damn me and my stupid forgetful brain!

“Oh don’t say that dear father” he started. Wait, father? “I was just enjoying the outdoors, the weather has been very good” He then head to an empty seat, in front of us since it was 6 sitter table, so he and his, father were facing each other. I slumped at my seat trying to be invisible, it just feels like I’m not supposed to be here.

“So, what do we have here for dinner?” He said then rudely stood up in his chair looking at the food in a better view. Well, I would do that, but not in public! My mom would kill me, chop me in pieces, dice my organs, place it in a sack, and then throw me in a river, NO metaphors! Its either two things, Mrs. Sandoval is a really nice lady, who unlike my mom does not give a shit for table manners or this guy just, has really big guts.

Still not contented with what he did, he raised his leg in his chair, towered a huge amount of food in his plate then chomped it like he was trying to mimic the sound of an eating pig. Again I would do that but not in public. This guy is like waving a banner, with a shame on my family on it. I got to hand it to him, he’s brave, like really brave. I looked over to Mr. Sandoval and was he angry, he looked like he going to blow, like a bomb. He was as red as a tomato, either from anger, embarrassment or both.

“Get up, and walk to your room” Mr. Sandoval said getting even red by the second, if that’s even possible. I know he was fighting not to skin his son alive in front of us. There was a short pause, then a large fist hit the table, it actually made me jump.

“I said, go to your room!” Mr. Sandoval’s voice boomed all over the house. I was actually getting scared, for this boy. I don’t think he’ll live to see the light.

“Oh! You were talking to me?” The boy said from across the table. There was a deadly glare coming from Mr. Sandoval’s side, it was kind of saying ‘I’ll kill you’. The boy then slammed his spoon in the table and walked upstairs, his face still containing no emotions. Mr. Sandoval followed quickly behind, steam coming from his ears and nose. An awkward vibe then left the remaining people in the table, it was so thick you can cut it with a chainsaw. Everyone had different emotions written in their faces, my mom looked curious and had a that-teenager-was-so-rude-oh-kids-this-day look in her face, Mrs. Sandoval was embarrassed, Nathan was disappointed and I was uncomfortable. We just sat there, or heads down and our pupils flying to different directions. Then, like an angel in disguise............
