Invisable

I walk down the school hallways to my class, the 'cool kids' slouching against the walls, checking their phones, sharing gum. I stay quiet. I'm not a 'cool kid', so entering their territory is a bad idea, let alone talking to them. Out of nowhere a group of girls come bundling past me, nearly knocking me over, 'um hello?' I think to myself, 'am I invisible?!' Once I turn the corner my best friend Caroline is waiting by the lockers. 'Hey.' She says brightly. Kawaii comes skipping past us. 'Oops sorry.' She says and picks up the books she's just made fall over. Her names not Kawaii, it's katie, but she's the most Kawaii girl in our school, maybe even in the whole world...typically she has pastel pink hair, these really odd nails that are fluffy pink... 'Who do they think they are?!' Snaps Caroline, glaring at the big group of girls. 'Something special.' I reply, sighing. 'There idiots.' Laughs Caroline, 'there gonna get no where in life.'- Caroline's my bestfriend, she likes to state her opinion about EVERYTHING, she has short brownish hair, and has a habit of biting her nails, Like me...that's how we met actually. We walk over to class and sit down at our desks, and after what feels like years the bell goes, end of school.
I hate blending into the crowd. Some might argue I have a normal life, I should be grateful of that. But sometimes it just gets boring! I want to stand out! I've tried. So many times! The cool kids always beat me to it. I wish I was a cool kid. If only I could be....
'Tilly, what homework do you have?' Mum asks, preparing dinner. 'None.' I reply. I'm sitting at the kitchen table with my older sister Jessica, her head in a A Levels revise book, she's taking them in a few days. 'Really?!' Mum asks, raising a eyebrow. 'Yes.' I mumble. I have science homework, it's not due for the next few days, plus I don't feel like doing it now. 'Oh girls, I've decided, you know the big bedroom, well if Jessica does well in her exams then she's having it.' Mum says, peeling potatoes. 'Really?!' Jessica exclaims, looking up from her book, 'Yes.' Mum smiles. 'What about me?' I ask, feeling a little left out. 'Well...you'll go into our room.' Mum says. Mum and dads room is only a little bigger than mine. If only I could have the big room.
