"Lana get your raggedy ass up!"
That can only be one asshole. My bitch of a step dad. I'm not going to sugar coat anything, he's a prick.
I mean it's only 8 in the friggin morning what does he want? "What?!" I shout down to him as I feel my bed hair with my fingertips, attempting to get up but failing miserably. "School starts in half an hour! Get dressed!" He shouts as I go wide eyed "shit." I curse to myself.

Quickly, I jump out of my mess of a bed and dive into my wardrobe to get whatever I can to go to hell in. I grab a ripped pair of denim skinny jeans, a black vest top and a brown fringed jacket to go over the top. A few rings will also do the trick.
I quickly brush my hair, not bothering to straighten it since I don't have time. Then put a pair of beige high top converse on.

Not bothering with breakfast, I grab my bag and slam the door.

I think I'll make it.

Oh by the way I'm Lana! It's actually
Lana Rosa Durbank. But Lana will do. I'm in senior year at high school, I wish I was in college but that will be next year. I don't really give a shit about anyone's opinion so I express myself through my love of good clothes. I tell people if I don't like them and believe me no one has argued with me in a while. It's good to be single faced that way people respect you more.

I'm just under 6ft with natural, wavy, light dirty blonde hair and I style myself a bit bohoish. I just love the style and the festivals. I want to spend my life at a festival but because my mom coops me in like a bird in a cage, she hasn't let me experience a festival. I've only watched videos.

I have a mom and a step-dad (Steve) they're both goody two shoes who want me to go to some stuck up rich kid college next year. My moms  even willing to pay my tuition for it, but I thankfully declined. I want to be my own person not who they want me to be.

But Steve's always disliked me, probably because my mom had sex with someone else other than him and I'm the result of it. I just love winding him up about it and he can't do anything because he's only my step  'dad'.

Anyway welcome to my boring world.
But one thing I'm planning to do which will spice up my plain, average, black and white world.. Is the fact I'm planning on going to Coachella this year. Without being stopped.
