Explaning bruises

~Melody's pov~

I rushed out the house, I couldn't be near him. I wasn't sure if the beaten gave me bruises but I didn't want to be in the house so I decided to go to school. I sighed and started walking to school.

I bumped into someone and I looked up, I saw it was Cody, he got angry and he started walking away, I turned around and saw Blake, I grabbed Cody's arm and said "no, Cody wait." He got his arm out of my grip and I groaned, I ran over to him and grabbed his arm "no, Cody wait, look at me," I cried, he stopped and said "make it quick." I looked into his eyes and said "Blake and his mates didn't do this," he stared at me confused and said "who did?" I sighed and said my mum's husband.

{Later That Day}

~Blake's pov~

I grabbed Melody's arm and pulled her into a room, I looked at her and said "Melody, what happened?" she looked away and said "nothing." I grabbed her hand and said "sweetheart, tell me what happened," she sighed and said "my mum's husband did it. He's abusive my mum doesn't know and I tried to tell her but she doesn't believe me." I sighed and said "I'm sorry, if anything just come to my house or Cody's," she nodded and said "okay." She left the room and I sighed, she has to get away from him before things get worse.
