Chapter 5

Kayla's POV

"So how do you like it here" I was interrupted in my thought when Hunter said that.
"I love it, but don't you think it's a little too much?" I said questioning everything.
"Of course a room meant for a queen given to the queen of this house," he said smiling and saluted to me. We both started dying of laughter.

Then Christine walked in.
"Hey Jacobs on the phone he wants to come over." she said in question form.

"Sure Kayla already knows him so it won't be awkward. " Hunter said even though we all know it still would be.

"Kayla you ok with that?" Christine asked. All I did was nod my head. I was kinda anxious because 1: I have to be social 2: I have to be social with the person who saved my life.

*30 Minutes Later*

I heard a knock at the door and Hunter answered it.
"Heyyyy bro!" he screamed for the whole house to hear while all I could here was two sets of feet running down the huge flights of stairs.
"Jacob!" I heard Brandon and Ashton scream at the same time.
These weird children.
"Hey Jacob," I said quietly but loud enough for him to hear.
"Oh hey Kayla I didn't know they were taking you in today," he said looking extremely happy when he saw my face.

"LETS GO SWIMMING!" Brandon screamed throughout the kitchen and living room.
Everyone ran up the stairs including me and went up to our rooms.
Ugh why must I only have bikinis and no other kinds.
Guess i'll just have to deal with what I got.
I put on a blue and white chevron strapless bikini with black bottoms. I slid into my black flip flops (Gucci) and walked out to the pool with my towel covering my top half.
Once I reached the sliding door that leads to outside I noticed all of the guys staring at me.
I opened the door and put my towel on the ground. All of the guys were already in the pool and I'm not one to dilly dally.
I ran straight in and jumped on top of someone.
Once I swam up for air I noticed who I jumped on.
Jacob.
"Oh sorry," I said blushing like crazy.
"It's ok and you look really cute when you blush," he said winking at me.
I've never seen this side of Jacob even if I had only known him for what 3 days.

*4 Hours Later of swimming*

We've been swimming for a long time and Hunter, Brandon, and Ashton got out for food.
It was only me and Jacob.
"So how do you like it here?" he asked. Your kidding me right. Ugh.great. Now I have to have a conversation with this kid.
"Good. it's really big and kinda odd being in somewhere else besides the orphanage," I said looking into the water.
"Why?" he asked looking into my eyes.
"Why what?" I said confused.
"Why would you try to commit?" he asked with a comforting look.

"I've been bullied since 5th grade, been abused since I was 8, and my parents are both dead and my brother. Why wouldn't I? No one would've cared, but you did. That's what makes you special." I said looking into his eyes with lust.
Why was I feeling this way towards him.
Before I knew it we were right in front of each other. He kept looking up and down from my eyes to my lips. I did the same. He started leaning in. I did the same. Then it happened. They touched.
We kissed for a good 30 seconds.
"I will always care for you. From now on," he said looking straight into my eyes.
Hunter had called Jacob and I in so we hopped out of the pool still shocked from what had just occurred.
I went inside and checked the time 11:34 pm on a Saturday night. Time for bed. I peacefully went up to my room and laid down and thought. Thought of everything that happened.

Then it hit me.

I had just had my first kiss.
Wow.
