Chapter 28

Kayla's POV
1 year Later

Me and Jacob are still together and so is Mackenzie and Hunter.
Taylor is now 23.
Mackenzie, Brandon, and I are all 16.
Jacob just turned 17.
Hunter is 18.
And Ashton is 13.
Tomorrow was my birthday so today Kenzie and I thought we would get jobs.
All 7 of us still live together in the Rowland's house since we've gotten so close to each other.
I went into Kenzie's room to see her watching Netflix. (preferably TWD aka The Walking Dead) She closed her laptop and looked at me.
"How would you feel about getting a job today," I said to her and her eyes lit up.
"Yes!!" she said slipping on her flip flops considering its the middle July.
"Leggo," she said putting on her sunglasses.
Ugh this girl.

We drove to Starbucks and we went to the help wanted sign.
We walked in and went to the front cashier.
"Hi we're here for the help wanted sign," Kenzie said.

Kenzie's POV

The cashier looks exquisitely familiar.
I just can't put my finger on it.
"Sure have you had experience?"he asked.
"No but I'm a quick learner," I said flashing a smile.
"One more question, what's your full name?" he asked suspiciously.
"I'm Mackenzie Rose Johnson, why?" I said confused.
His eyes widened so much.
"I'm Weston Koury, your brother," he said. I remembered now. Dad always talked about someone named Weston but I thought it was one of his work friends but it was my brother.
No wonder why so many family pictures are ripped up.
I pulled him into a hug.
"Sup brotha," I said laughing.

Hunters POV

"Where's Kayla and Kenzie?" I asked Jacob and all he did was shrug his shoulders.
"Starbucks!" we both yelled at the same time.

We made it to Starbucks and I see Kayla and Mackenzie talking to the cashier.
Then Kenzie hugged him.
What is this all about?
I tapped her on the back and rose my eyebrow.
"Who is this Kenzie?" I asked suspiciously looking at him with narrow eyes.
"Oh this is Weston, my brother," she said pulling away from him.
Weston stuck his hand out and shook Hunters hand.
"Hi I'm Mackenzie's brother," he said smiling.
"And I'm Hunter, her boyfriend," I said with no emotion what so ever.

Weston's POV

My mom has told me about Kenzie all the time.
How her and dad split and I went with mom and she went with dad.
We are fraternal twins.
I missed her so much. Even though didn't know her I wanted to.
It's my twin of course I would want to know her.
"Ok we have to go Ill text you Weston," Mackenzie said.
"Ok bye sista from the same mista!" I yelled as she walked out of he door.

Kayla's POV

Tomorrow was my 17 birthday.
And I was nervous
Me and Jacob are finally going to be the same age.
He turned 17 in October and now it's July.
It was already 8:00 pm so me and Jacob headed up to bed.
We've gotten really close ever since MagCon ended.
We laid down and right when my head hit the pillow I was out.

In the morning
9:34am

I woke up to no Jacob next to me and a sticky note on my forehead.
I pulled it off and read it.

"Go to the place where we first met
Don't rush the sun hasn't set"
