Chapter 12

Jacobs POV

After we all finished our pancakes, the boys and I left to go to the park.
We were meeting Taylor and Blake there and some of their friends.
Once we got there we saw Taylor and Blake sitting on the swings with 2 girls!
Oh god this isn't gonna turn out good.

"Wassup my brotha!" Blake screamed from a couple feet away.
"Sup, who are these fine ladies?" I said looking at the girls.
They were hot.
They were about my age, ugh but I have Kayla.
Oh well it's not like she'll find out.

Kayla's POV

Christine came down the stairs in gym clothes.
"Sorry hunny I have to go to the gym, I promised my girlfriends I would go with them," she said grabbing her purse and keys.
"It's ok I'm probably going to go on a run later so i'll see you later," I said getting up to go get ready.
I put on a black sports bra, gray Nike Pros, and black and white Nikes.
I put my hair in a pony and grabbed a headband.
I made a water bottle and grabbed my iPod for music.
Then I was off.

A little bit into my run I was about to pass the park. I decided to stop by on the boys an say hi but I saw something that made me want to change my mind.

Hunters POV

Why was Jacob flirting with these strippers, he has Kayla.
The girls were dressed in booty shorts and crop tops, WHO FINDS THAT ATTRACTIVE?
I elbowed Jacob in the ribs an he gave me a dirty look.
I saw Kayla running by right when Jacob did the unthinkable.

Jacobs POV

I was flirting with the girls because hey they were hot.
Kayla would never find out so who cares.
"Why don't we get out of here so we can hang out?" I asked Emily, one of the girls.
"No lets just stay here its a nice day out," she said.
I looked around to see all the guy were talking to each other and not paying attention to me.
Great.
Perfect timing.

I leaned in ad kissed her.
We kissed for a good minute when I heard someone whisper my name.

"Jacob?" I turned around to see Kayla.

Ugh.
I screwed up.

Kayla's POV

I saw Jacob kissing a bimbo in the park.
Then the tears started to flow.
I whispered his name and he stopped kissing her.
"Oh my god Kayla it's not what it looks like," he said walking over to me.
"It's exactly what it looks like, you've moved on from the scarred suicidal girl for a beautiful girl with no scars. Have a good day Jacob. Bye." I said walking away.
"Really Kayla! Why are you so stubborn?" Jacob said with a attitude.
I whirled around and smacked him across his face.
"I'm the stubborn one, really," I said while running away from the park.
I got home and pulled out my phone and called Mackenzie.

"Hello?" I heard her from the other end of the phone.
"I need you" I said sniffling with tears staining my face.
"I'll be there in five," she said ending the call.
I don't understand why he would do this to me.
He just told me he loved me now he's acting like a jerk!
I don't understand boys.
I laid on the couch bawling my eyes out into a pillow until I heard the door open.
I already knew it was Mackenzie.
"Who do I have to beat up this time?" she said sarcastically.
I giggled and sat up.
She looked at my face and came up to me and hugged me.
This is why I love this girl.
