Chapter 29

Kayla's POV

I hopped into my car and drove to the tree.
The tree that me and Jacob first met at.
As I pulled up to it I see another note on the branch I sat on.

This is the place where I saved you
Next ride the Ferris wheel too

The carnival.
I went to the place where the carnival was at but now it was just a parking lot.
I saw a car and there was an orange sticky note on it.

I've beaten people up for you
Go to the place where I did that too

I knew what he was talking about.
When he beat up Andrew.
I hopped into the car once again and drove to the school.
On the front doors there was a bright green sticky note.

I know this is sad but very true
Go to the place where I cheated on you

That would be the park.
I remember that vividly.
How he kissed that bimbo right in front of me.
But today that's not the point.
It was already 4:30pm
Wow this guy is keeping me busy.

I drove to the park to see someone standing there.
He handed me a note.

Go back home and dress up, take your time
Then come back here so we can dine

Jacob is so sweet that he planned this all out.
I didn't even know he knew how to rhyme.
I drove home and started to get ready.
I opened my closet and saw the most amazing dress ever.
And of course there was a sticky note.

I decided to help choose an outfit for you
There is a surprise on the floor too

I was in total shock. He is being so amazing with everything I didn't even want to know how this night will end.

The dress was a dark maroon color. It was about thigh length and had spaghetti straps.
It was beautiful.
I then looked down at the bottom of the closet and saw an amazing pair of completely matching heels.
They were the exact same color!!
And once again a sticky note

These heels match your dress great
Now get ready and meet me at 8

This kid and his rhyming skills
I pulled the dress out of the closet along with the heels.
I jumped in the shower and started to sing my favorite song:
Jet Black Heart by 5 Seconds of Summer.

I finished the song after washing my hair.
I got out of the shower and blow dried my hair so I can curl it.
Once it was dry I turned on the curling iron and let it heat up.
Once it was hot enough I curled my hair in sections.
Next is to get dressed.
I slipped on the dress and it fit perfectly.
I'm not one to wear dresses so it did feel a little short so I pulled out a pair of my Nike Pros out of the drawer and put them on.
It was already 6:35 wow I take a really long time to get ready.
Next was makeup.
I put on foundation and concealer along with bronzer and blush.
I did a slight smokey eye with dark reds, grays, and gold.
I applied mascara and did a wing with my liquid eyeliner.
Lastly I put on a maroon lipstick that I had and it matched the dress and the heels perfectly.
I looked in the mirror and saw how good I looked.
"Wow I look hot," I said to myself.
I don't know how Jacob got everyone out of the house.
It's practically impossible it get them out of bed not even leaving the house.
I picked out a clutch that was gold which looked good up against the maroon.
I put the lipstick, my phone, Tic Tacs, and my keys to the house in it.
Before I opened the last compartment to put my phone in, I checked the time.
7:45! wow it took me 1 hour and 10 minutes to do my make up.
But hey, at least it looks perfect.
I opened the last compartment and saw a pink sticky note.
This kid knows me too well.

Hurry hurry don't be late!
Don't forget dinners at 8

I slid on my heels and walked out of the house and got into my car.
I drove to the park once again and I could believe my eyes.

There were lights hung everywhere on the trees and there were blankets on the ground.
There was a basket I'm guessing with the food in it.
The most mesmerizing part was a projector set up with the beginning of my favorite movie playing.
Maze Runner.
I saw Jacob walk up to me from out of the mix of trees.
He was dressed in a white button down and kakis.
He looked hot.
"Hey babe how was your day?" he said sarcastically, smirking.
He took my hand and led me to the blankets as he pressed play on the movie.
This is the best day ever.
