After the moment that Nico and I had, we walked outside to where everyone was. I got different looks from everyone. I kept my eyes on my shoes, Nico staying at my side. "Hey Leona." Percy said as he ran in front of us. I looked up to see his sea green eyes. "Where did you learn to fight like that?" He asked. Annabeth walked up to his side. "Well?" She asked. "It was an instinct I guess. I use to practice a little when I was younger." I replied. I wasn't sure whether to trust him still. Annabeth gave me a look that made me nervous. "Well, that was amazing. Maybe you could show me a few moves." She said, holding her hand out. I returned the gesture, we shook hands. "You are a worthy opponent." She commented.
"Why don't you come hang out with us at the lake?" Annabeth asked. "Yeah, you can meet the rest of us. Grover, Tyson, Rachel, Thalia, and more." Percy added. "Well, Thalia is still on a quest with Artemis' Hunters." Annabeth said. I looked over at Nico, " well, only if Nico comes." I said, still looking at Nico. "Um, I have somewhere to be, but why don't you go." He said. He placed his hand on my shoulder, giving it a few taps. "Okay." I said quietly. He gave a glance over at Percy and Annabeth, but the glance at Percy was longer than Annabeths. Nico walked away towards the woods. "You coming?" Annabeth asked. I bit my lip and nodded.
We walked to a big lake, "this is the lake that Tyson came here from." Percy said. "Huh?" I asked. "He swam here." Percy said with a laugh. "Oh." I responded. There were a few people on the sand. "Percy, were have you been? We have been waiting for you." A man with tiny horns and goat hooves said. "I was a bit busy." Percy said as he motioned to me. Grover looked at me. "Oh, hey. Your the girl from the woods." He said. "Yeah, I guess so." I replied. "Her name is Leona." Annabeth told Grover. He rolled his eyes. A boy with one eye walked up to use. "Hi, I'm Tyson." He said as he gave me a hug.
"Tyson." Percy said as he tugged him off of me. "Sorry, I'm a hugger." Tyson said. "No, it's fine. I've never hugged a- um, what are you? Not to be rude, but curious." I said. "It's okay, I'm a Cyclopes. My mother is a nymph, while my father is Poseidon." He explained. "So, you're Percy's brother then." I replied. He nodded. "We're the only children of 1 of the big 3." Percy said. "Big 3?" I asked. "Yes." Another voice said. A red headed girl appeared. "The big 3, Zeus, Hades, and Poseidon. It is said that the children of the eldest sons of Cronos and Rhea will face a great evil. One of the children will bring great darkness and disaster to the world." The girl said. I was completely confused as to what she said. "That's Rachel, the oracle." Annabeth explained.
"May I?" Rachel asked as she extended her hand out to me. I looked confused, exchanging glances at Annabeth and Percy. "It's okay, she just wants to read you. Have a look into your past and future." Annabeth explained. I couldn't let her, she can't see who I really am, at least that is what Danny told me. "Uh, I don't think that's a good idea. I don't many people knowing a lot about me, I'm just not ready to be open." I said as I placed my hands behind my back. "It's okay, not everyone is ready for it yet." Rachel assured.
After meeting Rachel, Tyson, and Grover, we hung out by the water. "So, Leona. Do you have any special abilities?" Grover asked. "Um, I can fight pretty well." I started. "Obviously." Grover, Percy, and Annabeth all said a the same time. "But what else can you do?" Annabeth commented. I bit my bottom lip and looked around. My eyes landed on a shadow of a tree. With a wave of my hand a shadow creature appeared. It ran around us and made weird noises. "Cool, what is that?" Percy asked. "It's a shadow creature. I make them, whether it's based off of other animals and creature or from my imagination. I can also shadow travel and do some other stuff." I explained.
We spent all day at the lake, I got to know all of them. It hurt me that I'm lying to all of them. I wanted to tell them the truth, but Danny told me that I couldn't. We headed back to camp for dinner, except I wasn't hungry, so I went to my cabin.
I didn't see if Nico was there as I past his room. I would think so since his door was closed. I grabbed by bag and started to pull out a few things. A few pairs of clothes, which I put into the black dresser. I pulled out a small book, it was kind of like a diary. Except that it wasn't, it was just a journal that I put my thoughts in. I call it my thought book. No body, not even my parents can touch the book. I put a special spell on it. The book doesn't open, it only opens when I touch it, so if someone tries to open it, it is suck.
I set the book down on the desk by the window. Looking out the window, I could see all the other demigod children having fun. I never had much of it, I guess that a thing with children of Hades. They keep to themselves. Although, I sense something about Nico, I can't spot it clearly though. Anyways, I got ready for bed and went to sleep.
