It didn't take long to get to Heraklion. Nico told me that it was decided that only me, Annabeth, Frank, and Pipe would go. Annabeth had a feeling that her mother would have issues if Percy, Jason, and Nico would go, but just incase of anything, Nico would hide in the shadows.
We all walked off of the Argo 3 at the shipping docks. Heraklion was just as beautiful as Thessaloniki. Annabeth leaded the way, although we ended up in a public library. "My mother is a Goddess of wisdom and with wisdom, comes books." She explained. As we traveled along the isles, Piper noticed a woman that looked a little bit out of the blue. The lady wore a golden dress with blue accents. She also had a gold hair pin that looked like a coin. "Mom?" Annabeth said. The woman turned in our direction. "Hello Annabeth." She said with a big smile. Annabeth ran to her mother and embraced her. "You have grown so much." Athena said. If Annabeth didn't pull away, she might have started to cry. "Ophelia Leona Dark. It has been so long." Athena said. Like before, I'm still confused as to how Athena and Apollo knew me. "Mom, we kind of need to borrow your shield and spear." Annabeth said smoothly. "I know. You need them to defeat Nyx." Athena started. "But, in order to borrow them, you have to trade me." She finished. Uh, another trade. Do the Olympians think that we have everything. "You must give me something that doesn't have much value and that has been trashed." Athena said. I was even more confused. Why would a Goddess want something that is completely worthless? Piper walked over to me. "Athena is know for wisdom. She loves reading, why do you think that she is in a library? She wants a book that actually has value, but isn't seen as valuable." Piper whispered into my ear. My brain started thinking, when all of a sudden I got the idea. "I know exactly what you want." I said. Athena then looked at me with an expression that said "is that right".
Digging through my bag, I pulled out my journal. I never really seen much value in it, but all the secrets and things that I've wrote down in it are valuable. Giving her my journal, she opened it. Wait, she opened my book. I guess not all spells can't keep out everyone. "Yes this is exactly what I was looking for." Athena said. She then handed Annabeth a necklace and bracelet. "My spear and shield." She said. Annabeth placed the jewelry inside her bag. "Thank you mother." Annabeth said before urging us to leave. We ran outside the library and all the way back to the Argo 3.
By the time we got back the sun was setting. "Out of all the missions that we have done. This one has been the simplest." Percy said. I haven't been on any missions, so I can't disagree.
As time was slipping. Everyone met up for dinner. Calypso decided to join us. She had worn a different outfit, judging by the one two outfits she has. Someone must have given her some clothes. I sat by Nico and Hazel at dinner. We all had pizza and Cola. When we were done, I left right away, and to my room. I changed, jumped into bed, and greeted the sleep I was waiting for.
