When we got to the island, Jason and I pulled the boat to shore. "Where do you think we are?" I asked. "This happened to Leo on our last quest. I think I know where we are." Jason said as he started walking towards the trees. I stayed quiet and followed him.
A small, cozy home appeared in front of us. A garden in front of the home as well. It looked inviting, but cautious still. "Who lives here, Jason?" I asked him again. "Calypso." He answered. He then walked up to the house and knocked on the door. A beautiful girl appeared from behind the door.
"Calypso?" Jason asked. "Well, who else would I be?" She asked with attitude. "Hi, I'm Jason Grace and this is Leona Spark. We are friends with Leo Valdez." Jason explained. For a moment, I saw her expression turn excited to sad when Jason said Leo's name. "The boat will be here by tomorrow to take you back to your ship." Calypso said before trying to close the door. Jason jammed his foot in between the door to keep it from closing. "Look, Leo has already filled us in on a lot." Jason said. Calypso's face turned pale pink from embarrassment. I had no idea as to what was going on in front of me. "Leo's keeping his promise." Jason said. She shot a look of disbelief at Jason. "I'm telling the truth because you're coming with us." He said. She broke out into a laugh. "Don't you think I've tried? I'm banished here for all eternity. What makes you think that you can take me from here?" She asked. Jason took off his bag and began to dig around in it. He pulled out a tiny bottle of liquid. "With this." He said. She eyed the blue potion in the bottle. "What does it do?" She asked. "Get you to Leo, duh." Jason responded.
He placed the bottle in her hands. She stole glances between the bottle, Jason, and me. Taking the small cork out, she drank the potion. "Tastes like blueberry pie." She stated. "He asked Piper to make the flavor magical. Meaning when you drink it, you taste whatever you want. It lasts forever also." Jason answered. Without realizing it, the day light was fading away. "Is there somewhere that we can sleep for the night?" Jason asked. She flashed him a small smile, before she opened her door, and motioning for us to come in.
The inside of her small house was nice. She took us on a tour of the whole house. The kitchen, living room, dinning room, her bedroom, bathroom, the guest bedroom, and guest bathroom. She then showed me and Jason to our room. I wasn't too fond of the idea of sharing a room with him, but it was better than him and Calypso. "I'll come back with dinner." She said before leaving. An awkward silence stuck in the air. "I guess we should change out of these dirty clothes." Jason said. I then realized all of the sand that was stuck to us. I became itchy as the sand became noticeable on my body. "You can go first, I kind of get used to being cover in sand. Due to being friends with 2 sons of the sea and a girlfriend who loves the ocean." Jason said. I gave him a small smile before grabbing my bag and going into the bathroom.
After I was done in the shower, I got myself changed into some new and clean clothes. After I dried my hair I put it back into a ponytail. I cleaned up all of my stuff and left the bathroom. Jason was standing by the window. "You can go in now." I said quietly. He must have heard me because he turned around. "Okay." He said as he grabbed his bag and made his way in. I heard a knock on the door as Jason got in the shower. I opened the door to see Calypso holding two trays. "Here you go. Just leave them on the dresser when you're done." She said handing the trays to me and then walking down the hallway. Closing the door, I set the trays by the window. "Who was that?" Jason asked. I jumped because he had scared me. Turning around, I see a shirtless Jason. His body was amazing, I could just look at it all day. Managing to look away, "Calypso brought us our food. She said to leave the empty trays on the dresser." I informed him. He finally put on a shirt before coming over to get his tray. A cooked salmon, with roasted vegetables, and rise, were on the plates. Just taking one bit, my taste buds were in heaven. "Wow." Jason said. "She's a great cook." I added. "I can see why Leo loves her so much." Jason said. We both laughed.
When we finished, I took the trays and stacked them on the dresser. I let out a long yawn. "Tired little duck?" He asked. "Yeah, long day." I said. We both got on different sides of the bed. It was really weird knowing that Jason was laying in the same bed with me. I would have never imagined it. "Night Leona." Jason said. I wanted to tell him everything that I told Nico. "Night, Jason." I said before closing my eyes.
