When I woke up the next morning, I went to my window. I saw my mother leaving for her time in the living world. She saw me, giving me a wave, before continuing her journey.
I got ready for the day, knowing that I had to run some errands for my mother. I wanted to get it done within one day, so today was going to be long. I grabbed my bag and left.
My first stop was to get the book of records from Nyx. Nyx and my mother became good friends, so it will be easy to visit her. Deciding to shadow travel, I got there within a matter of seconds. I practice shadow raveling behind my fathers back, he thinks that I can't handle it.
"Ophelia, how are you my dear? You have grown so much since the last time I saw you." Nyx said. She hasn't seen me since I was 3. "It's very lovely to see you as well. You look more beautiful than before." I complemented. She gave me a smile and did a small bow of appreciation. "I was requested to run some errands for my mother. She told me that I was suppose to get the book of records from you." I explained. "Of course." She replied. With a wave of her hand, a book appeared from a cloud of smoke, in her hands. "Here you go, my dear." She said as she handed me the book. I place the book in my bag, gave her my thanks, and left for my next stop.
I shadow traveled to Chaos' place. "Ophelia, it has been, so long." She said as she came out of the shadows. She embraced me, "what can I do for you?" She asked as we parted. "I need a star dust plant." I said. She snapped her fingers, a tiny flower bloomed from the floor. Approaching it, she plucked it and place it into a tiny glass bottle. "Hey you go." She said. I gave her a smile, then headed off to Hecate.
I arrived in a dark room, filled with deep red furniture. "Hecate?" I said into the empty room. She appeared from behind a curtain. "Hello Ophelia." She said. Goosebumps appeared on my arms, Hecate kind of scared me a little. "I need a bottle of rose sapling." I said. She looked at a closed cabinet. She went up to it, when she opened it, rows of different potions and viles were lined up on the shelves. She picked up a tiny vile , then walking over to me, placing it my hand. She then turn away from me a disappeared behind the same curtain. I took the hint as it being my queue to leave.
I shadow traveled to a little spice and herb shop. Going in I searched the shelves for the last 2 things I needed to gather. I found the raven feather, then the troll hair. I paid for them, then left.
When I got home I place the items in my mother's workshop room. I then went to my room. I felt a presence there, "who ever you are, show yourself." I said. My friend Danny appeared. "Danny, you scared me. I thought you were an escaped soul." I said as I moved to my bed. "Well, I kind of am. I have some good news for you." She said. I gave her my full attention, "what?" I asked. "I found a secret way for yu to get to the living world." She said with excitement. I think my eyes were popping out of my head. "For real?" I asked. She nodded. I jumped out of my bed and went to my closet. Grabbing my weightless bag, I started to pack my stuff. I grabbed all of my clothes and anything that I might need.
I quickly changed my clothes, so that it would be easier to move if I had to run or walk.
After I was done packing, Danny took me. We arrived in front of a wall made of stone and dead vines. "You walk through, a hallway is on the other side." She explained. "Come on." I said talking a step forward. "I can't pass. I'm dead remember. Go to Camp Half Blood. Say that your name is Leona Orda Spark. Do not tell anyone that you are a from the underworld. You tell them that your father is Hades, your mother is a woman named Scarlet, you're from San Diego, California. Don't tell them that your mother is Persephone. There are things that your father is keeping from you. I can't tell you, for which it is you who must find out on your own." Danny informed me. A tear trickled down her cheek. Ushering me to go, Danny disappeared. I turned towards the wall, closed me eyes, and stepped through.
A dark tunnel surrounded me. I slowly walked down the tunnel. A bright light appeared at the end. From growing up, I was surrounded by darkness. The bright light hurt my eyes like crazy. After they adjusted to the light, I could see my surroundings. I was in the middle of a forest. I went to walk forward, but I felt a change in myself. I felt the human part of me.
I am a demigod, but a special kind. My parts are Hades and Persephone, but mother had a human egg in her that she didn't know about. From living in the underworld, the aging took longer. I am 16 years old, but the days down in the underworld took longer. Now being in the human world, the time was different. It is hard to explain. The air was fresh, in the underworld, the air is stuffy and it feels like it has tiny pieces of acid like metal floating around. With a mixture of the light, air, and gravity, I became dizzy. My vision was shifting. I began to run, having no idea as to where I might be going. Avoiding trees and rocks, I ran. My heart beating fast and faster. I was hyperventilating, I was scared. "Help!" I screamed. It was getting hard to breath, my breaths becoming short and light. "Help." I said before collapsing to the ground. I greeted the darkness that soon consumed me completely.
