Hola Amigos!!!!!
¿Cómo està

Lol, was practising my Spanish. To the matter on ground_ thanks for making it this far. I appreciate it.

Lola slammed the alarm clock, hard. She rolled to the other side of her bed to resume her sleep. The sun rays kissed her skin and she got up finally.

"Really? She yelled out loud. There was no way she could get back to sleep. She took a glance at the clock, 10:23am. Little wonder the sun was up and brighter than usual.

Yesterday was one of the worst days of her life. Yolanda turned up dead. She couldn't get over the fact that she had seen Yolanda's lifeless body.

She heaved a sigh and jumped out of bed. There wasn't school today and she was thankful for it. They had been given two days off to get over the incident.

Lola walked out of her room, into the hallway. She breathed in the scent of Ma's perfume. Ma was back from wherever it was she had gone to.

Lola thought to check up on her. She'd have to knock on the door, Ma would come out and close the door immediately behind her and take her (Lola) down to the living room to have a conversation. Lola wondered why her grandmother had to be so protective of her room.

Lola decided she'd wait for Ma to come down whenever she was ready to. As Lola walked down the stairs, she heard someone humming a tune she wasn't familiar with.

"Who are you and why are you here? Lola asked with her brows raised. She was finally in the living room.

"Good morning, I'm Yurrella and I was hired to work here as a maid" she said with a faint smile.

Lola looked at her from head to toe and vice versa. There was something off about this one who claimed to be a maid. She had long black hair, a beautiful face and a shapely body. Frankly, she looked like anything except a maid.

"You're saying you were hired here? By who? Lola still wasn't convinced.

"By Mrs Helen, miss" Yurella said. She was holding on to a clean cloth she had been using to dust furniture.

"So my Grandmother hired you, huh? Lola said as she walked further into the parlor and closer towards Yurella.

"That is correct"

"So what do you do?

"I'm paid to clean and cook"

Cook. That seemed to be the only thing that made sense to Lola. "Alright then, I'm..."

"Lolade" Yurella said. She smiled brightly.

Lola instantly despised her. Who did she think she was? Showing up and playing house! Where did Ma get this one from?

" Since you know so much" Lola began then paused to take a look at Yurella, who seemed to have her eyes fixed on her " where is my brother?

"Lekan is in the garden" Yurella informed.

"He better be" Lola murmured to herself and headed for the front door.

As soon as Lola was out of the living room, Yurella threw the cloth she had been holding on the floor and rolled her eyes. " insolent brat" she muttered.

She looked around. There was no one. She waved her Hands and immediately all furniture was dusted clean, put in its place and food appeared on the dinning table.
