Hey Readers,Im gonna stop publishing more chapters after this until I get enough audience for my book. In the mean time I want you guys to vote and comment on this book. Feel free to help me promote my book. I'd appreciate it very much.Yolanda glanced at her watch. Why had Genesis wanted to see her? That was the only thought that kept running through her mind. The sleep over was two days ago and everything that happened was still fresh in her memory.
Yolanda looked around. She was getting impatient. She had skipped literature class for this and didn't want to risk being caught in the cafeteria.
"Hey there" Genesis called out softly.
"You sure took your sweet time getting here, didn't you?
"I had to feign a headache to leave class. You know how Mr Conrad is" Genesis said as she took a seat beside Yolanda.
"Why you here?
"What happened to you the night of the sleep over?
Yolanda fidgeted in the chair." I don't even know how to explain it" her voice was shaky
" Did you see the ball glow too?
" I saw more than a glowing ball" Yolanda began. She looked at Genesis, expecting her to say something and when she didn't Yolanda continued " I kept looking at the ball and when I almost gave up it was as if I had gone into a trance. I saw myself walking towards the gym locker room. When I opened the door I was there on the floor"
"Let me get this, so it was like a revelation?
"I think so. So I saw myself sprawled on the floor, lifeless. I saw the teachers gathered around me and some of the students were crying" Yolanda burst into tears "Genesis, I was dead!"
"That was why you screamed" Genesis said. Apprehension spread over her body "this is bad"
Yolanda was really worried and it showed. There was nothing anybody could do or say to relieve her of her worry.
"Do you know anything about the ball? Yolanda asked
"Not much" Genesis began " I know that there's a certain crystal ball that my grandma used to talk to me about. She said it was dangerous"
"This makes no sense. Do you think that ball is the same with Lola's?
"I feel it. I have a bad feeling about it"
Yolanda sighed. "No matter how hard I try to get it out of my mind, I can't"
"Why weren't you in here for lunch earlier?
"I wasn't hungry" Yolanda said uneasily. "Since the sleep over night I don't feel the need to eat and I can't bring myself to do so either"
"Have you told any other person about it?
"Of course not, they'd think I'm crazy"
"I have a bad feeling about this and I've got to tell Lola about it"
Yolanda sighed. "I don't wanna die "
"You won't" Genesis reassured her. She couldn't believe what she'd heard. She wasn't crazy after all. The ball was indeed strange. The hard part now would be convincing Lola that the ball was not to be toyed with.
Lola was on her way to the library when Genesis caught up with her in the hallway. She dragged her Into the nearest room which was the janitor's store room of supplies.
"What's wrong with you? Lola asked as she adjusted her uniform.
"Sorry I just need to speak to you urgently. Can I?
