How's it going Wattpad readers? So I just checked out Star Trek beyond and, dude...I have no words to explain. Before I find the words to speak, let me talk about the movie:

Star Trek Beyond is about another day in the Enterprise until a sudden attack happen that Kirk must let his entire crew escape the ship, due to the enemies being invincible. Most of the crew were captured by an alien leader name Krall who wanted something Kirk had in the Enterprise for so long. Kirk, Chekov, Bones, Spock, and Scotty must save the crew and the artifact before it is too late. The movie contained so many references from the original series of Star Trek since this year is the 50th anniversary of the series and I really loved it. I even love the adventures of Chekov and Kirk together. FINALLY! I AM GOING TO CALL IT 'KIRK AND CHEKOV'S EXCELLENT ADVENTURE!' (working on the fan art.) Anyways, the movie is fantastic. There were so many intense moments in the movie that sends chills through your spine and the action was on point. I really enjoyed the movie but, there was a reason why I went to see the movie (besides the fact I was excited to see it)...

On June 19th, 2016 at 1 a.m., Anton Yelchin (Ensign Chekov Pavel Andreievich) was killed in a freak car accident. According to the report, his car was on park but it rolled down the steep driveway and crushed him between the brick fence. He was suppose to be on his way to a meeting with his friends but since the accident happened, his friends were curious why he wasn't showing up at the meeting. that is when they arrived to his place to find his body crushed between the car and the fence. During the day, I was on Facebook and I saw a post that read 'R.I.P Anton Yelchin.' I was in shock and searched it up on the internet to find out what happened to him, and that's when I broke into tears. I was upset throughout the entire day. He was gone too soon, and he was only 27. FUCKING 27 YEARS OLD! He has so much talent to share with the world but time decided to end it. Why? Why him? Why can't it be anyone else? WHY IS THIS YEAR SO CRUEL?! WHAT DID WE DO TO DESERVE THIS?! Ever since I saw Star Trek, I fell in love with him because he was so cute with his Russian accent (and I also love Chris Pine because he's hot with his blue eyes), not to mention he looks so young in the movie. I know this is a bad time to talk about this but, it just...it affected me a lot. One day, I was with my parents to drop off my grandma at a house to work and we had to take the streets back due to the freeway shut down from the fire of Hollywood Hills. While we were driving through the streets, I read a sign that said, 'Welcome to Studio City.' My heart sank but chills ran through my spine. Studio City was home to Anton Yelchin. He lived there and now, I'm not sure what his house is gonna be. I highly doubt it's gonna be for sale because I want the house to be left alone. No one should trespass it except for his family, his friends and his loved ones. I couldn't stop thinking about it while we were passing through Studio City. I understand everyone wants to move on but, its really hard to try. Even for me. Like I said, I love him so much. I just don't understand what he did to deserve his death. He hasn't done anything wrong...

So, I went to watch the movie and I was cosplaying as Chekov during that time. A couple of people noticed my cosplay and what they did brought tears to my eyes and theirs. A cosplayer of Spock grabbed my hand and said to the audience, "this brave person came as what we see him now an angel, a hero, a kid, a man with talent. He was gone too soon. Let us take a moment of silence to say thee farewell to Anton Yelchin. Live Long and Prosper." After people clapped and cheered, I looked at him and I spoke in my Russian accent, "I can do zat." Immediately, he bawled and the crowd cheered. I went back to my seat and this teen guy who was in cosplay of Captain Kirk (he really did look like Captain Kirk with the blue eyes and the hair do) came up to me and gave me a huge hug with his words, "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to make you put on a red shirt. I shouldn't have chose someone else to take over Scotty's place." He made a reference to Star Trek Into Darkness where Scotty quit and Kirk chose Chekov to cover Scotty's place. Of course I respond in my Russian accent, "its ok Keptin. Its not your fault. you did vhat you did. You are Keptin of ze Enterprise. You give commands and we follow. Besides, I got you Keptin." I gave him a smile with a hug and I could tell tears were running, so was mine. I didn't know my cosplay of Chekov affected everyone. I thought everyone hated him, but I was wrong. He was a part of the Star Trek family. He was there to make anyone smile. During the movie, everyone cheered, laughed, gasped and cried, especially at the end. In the credits, it showed 'in loving memory of Leonard Nimoy (original Spock)' and everyone held their Vulcan sign of "Live Long and Prosper' and 'For Anton' which everyone cried and cheered at the same time. I looked down at the floor with my eyes close, trying to hold my tears. After the movie, I walked back home, still in my cosplay and I kept thinking that this is how the spirit of Anton Yelchin would be when he walks around the set of the USS Enterprise. Just alone and maybe with his costume of Chekov. But I will never forget the words he said to the Captain, "I got you keptin." But Chris's words in Beyond really got me when he made a toast:

'To absent friends...'

Rest in Peace Anton Yelchin. you are now an official star. Say hi to Jack Frost for me. (Chris Pine played as Frost in Rise Of The Guardians in case you didn't know that. Might as well make it a cross over where the moon meets the star)
