My back was cold, but something was warming my legs and stomach. I didn't dare to open my eyes, afraid of what they'd meet. What had happened? All that I can remember is that I ran out into the woods... And that I put on a shirt and a pair of shorts that I found. But what happened then?

Searching in the back of my mind I brought forward the memory from earlier.

I ran past a big hill and then stopped. Something was lying underneath a stone. I walked up to the stone and moved it with my big paw. It was fabric, no, clothes. A white shirt and a pair of light blue shorts. They must be someones, but right now I don't care.

Shifting back into my human form I stretched out my limbs. Looking around if anyone was there, I stated that I was in fact alone. I took the clothes and put them on.

The rest was blank.

Without opening my eyes, I knew that there were other people around me. I could sense their auras. There were about six male werewolves sitting around the source that was warming my legs. The source is probably a campfire, as I could feel the warmth dance over my body and the light shift over my eyelids.

"Is she awake?" By the sound of the voice, I could tell that he was around 30 years old. He is probably mated too. It smelled rogue all around, so he, and his companions, were probably a pack of rogues.

"Does she look like she's awake?" This man was a bit younger, maybe in his mid-twenties. His mocking tone had the other man tenser. They obviously didn't like each other too much.

"No, but it doesn't seem like she's sleeping, either," the older man said with his accent and I could feel my heart beating faster, because of the thought that they were all probably staring straight at me.

"One point to you," I said without opening my eyes. They had already figured me out, so why would I waste time on playing that I'm asleep.

Slowly I opened my eyes and stared out into the dark forest. Five men were sitting around a little fire not that far from me. They were all around 20, besides the guy with the accent. They all had slightly similar appearances with the dark hair and greyish blue eyes. But where was the sixth person that I had sensed? They must be somewhere near, but I can't see anyone else.

"Searching for something?"

I looked over at the guy with the accent, tilting my head slightly, "Is he up in the trees or down on the ground?"

All the men looked surprised, probably thinking that nobody would notice their companion. Jokes on them, I did.

"It's obvious that there's someone else here," I told them, looking around the green leaves above our heads. And there, on a big white branch, sat a guy. No, not just a guy, the guy that I met in the forest just before the meeting the other day. So he and his pals were not "just passing by". As I thought.

His eyes narrowed as I waved to him. He stood up from his crouching position and jumped down from the tree, making the leaves of the branch rattle against each other. It sounded almost as the wind was blowing through that tree, and only that tree.

"One question," I said and leaned back towards the cold tree. "Why did you kidnap me?"

He gave me a stubborn look and went back in the shadow from the tree.

"Me of all," I whispered with a little laugh. The men looked at me with confusion in their eyes, and then up at the man I met in the woods earlier.

"Is there something you didn't tell us about her?" The youngest guy stood up and walked over to him.

"Maybe you need to remind him of what he said," I said, trying to lure some information out of them.
