Wow, what a cliffhanger back there, huh? Let's see what happens next!
Marco's POV
Star and I went downstairs, eating the newly made pancakes silently, but I knew that we were having the same thoughts. That kiss was good. Not only that, but it also meant something. We look up at each other for a moment and smiled.
Someone then knocked on the door, startling both of us. I walked over and opened the door, revealing my parents back from their trip. "Hola, Marco!" My dad says. "Hi, sweetie!" Says mom. "Hey, you're home!" I say in excitement. "How was the trip?"
"It was amazing and your father made it perfect." My mom beams out. "So what did you guys do?"
"We just hung out really. Not much to do during summer vacation besides that." My parents tell us about their trip and then go upstairs to unpack. We continue to eat our pancakes and later end up on the couch watching TV, with my arm around Star.
Star's POV
After we found out that the only thing on TV were reality shows and something about a "sponge", we decided to go to my room and test some spells. "Choose anything out of the book." I say. "I need the practice." Marco chooses The Knock Out spell, automatically putting anyone to sleep if need be, and of course, there was only one person to try it on. "No wait Sta-" automatically, Marco was out to sleep. I think this one will come in handy.
Aye, guys. I'm on an airplane off to Cali, so sorry for the short chapter. I'll make it up next time. I'll see you later, my fan fic reader!
