A Special Star in the Sky (Starco Fanfic)

We Did It

       I never thought it was possible. Such a small story like this I made so long ago as a young lad, hoping that Starco would someday become canon on the big screen, which it eventually did, this story had somehow gained a huge amount of attention. I remember when I was excited for just a few hundred reads. Then a thousand. Then a few thousand. And now finally, we've reached the double digit. 10,000. That number just seems so far beyond what I ever expected. In reality, I kind of wrote this just so I could empty my mind of all the hopes I had on the direction of the show. I wrote this during the middle of Season One, I believe, with seeing two great characters that were put in a situation that had them basically asking to be shipped. I think we all knew it was inevitable, but just how was the question. Hence forth, A Special Star in the Sky was released. Looking back at some of the chapters, I cringe hard at some of the moments, like me geeking out about plot reveals and stuff. But I just quickly flip down and hope to never see it again, until I go off again on the next chapter, giving me an endless cycle of torment. I've remastered the story before, and maybe I'll do it again if y'all are interested. I think I could've made it a lot better, but its up to you guys. Maybe leave a comment on your opinion, I'll definitely take all of them into consideration. 

       I finished the book around 2,000 reads, which I thought was such a big number compared to the few hundred I used to have. Every once and a while, I'd check up on the story to see how it was doing. Between gaps of months, it grew and grew, to the point where as of today, it has finally reached the big number I prayed for. Of course, you got other Starco stories with a much higher read count, but this personally is just such a big goal that I never thought could have happened. The only thing I can give to you guys behind a desk as I type away is my gratitude. My thanks for just taking the time to read and vote and share and all that good stuff. I'm not sure if I'll update the views anymore unless I get like 20K or 1M or something, which I'll probably reach once I'm forty in a one bedroom apartment with a bunch of cats.
