Jessica's Apartment – Greenwich, London
"You got everything?" Jessica asked Atlin as she finished loading up the car boot.
Atlin thought about this for a moment having only actually brought along some clothes from her wardrobe and a couple pairs of shoes. "Leave it all here."
Jessica laughed before noticing Atlin's expression of seriousness, "Wait, why do you want to chuck it all?"
"Everything I own is from this case. None of it actually belongs to me. It all belongs to Atlin Eyre – Police Officer. It's tainted." She wouldn't admit it to Jessica, at least not yet, but she hated the fact that they had to run. While she was glad to be with Jessica and be rid of Jack, the fact she had betrayed the Deadbeat team, people she genuinely considered friends, genuienly pained her. For now though, she remained all smiles as Jessica stepped out of the car and dumped her own bags at the side of the road.
"Hey, if you're leaving it all behind, so am I." The pair smiled at each other as Jessica turned the key in the engine. "So, I was thinking we could take it easy in Monaco for a while and then see what works they've got in Berlin, I've got these contacts over there who are into exporting luxury cars and -"
Atlin placed a finger on Jessica's lips, "As long as we're together I don't care where we end up."
"Fine by me," Jessica grinned, putting her foot on the pedal as the two women took their first steps into their new lives.
