Chapter 5: Ciara
"I forgot about Avalon!" I scream, but I guess it was all jumbled up because Nixie just made a confuzzled look and asked, "What?"
I don't answer, and instead dive into my half-floor that has a connection to the ocean and tell Nixie,telepathically, to follow me as my tail forms.
As we speed toward the pier, I tell Nix to use a glamour, glamours are like camouflage that us 'mythical' creatures can use and see through, so, right now, if Ava were to see Nix, she would see an ordinary fish. Anyways, I get out of the water and use my hydro-thermokinesis to evaporate the water molecules enough so I transform back into my human form. I drag myself out of the water when no one looks and run toward the tub.
The tub is a bunch of hills that form, well a tub shape, when it rains. And it just rained yesterday, so the tub is still very full of water. Only me, Ava, and Nixie know about it. Nixie, because it also has an ocean connection, and Ava because she almost caught me and Nixie here once, but I had just enough time to evaporate the water, and Nixie had enough time to throw up a glamour. The tub is hidden within the pier on land, the grass descends down on a slope and you come into this beautiful cavern with stalactites made of crystals. The sun comes through the stalactites and creates a disco effect. Then there is the pool. Usually, it will be filled with the freshwater of rain, but when it hasn't rained for a while, the ocean connection helps to fill it with fresh, crisp seawater. Right now, rainwater has collected in it, still strikingly beautiful, but I prefer seawater, as does Nixie.
"Ava?" I speak softly, like I would to a sick or injured person because as far as I'm concerned, she probably is injured- emotionally.

Sorry, I just had to apologize for making you all wait like forever to only receive this short chapter.when i wrote this, i was on my way from NJ to FL for a family vacation. But, then I started school again and then I was just too busy.
