Chapter 16

Sky woke up and jolted up right, surprisingly it was morning. Sky gave a sigh and shook her head.
"Get a grip Sky, it was just a dream" she then suddenly heard a scream. Sky jumped out of bed and ran to where the scream had came from. She threw open a door that wasn't too far away from hers, a drop of blood splattered on her cheek as her eyes widened.
On the bed was lady Elizabeth her eyes wide with shock and her night gown stained red, with the handle on a knife poking out her stomach. The bed sheets were covered in red blood and so was the wall. Hunched over Elizabeth was a figure dressed in black.
"We have found you. The game is over." The figure said.
Sky recognised the voice.
The figure then ran and jumped out the window.
"RAVEN!!" Screamed Sky as she ran to the window that he had jumped out of, however when she got there she was too late.
"S...s...Sky"
Sky turned and was shocked to see Lizzy still alive, she ran over to her and put her hand on the handle of the knife in Lizzy's stomach, she looked at Lizzy.
"This might hurt" she warned. She then pulled the knife out of her body. Lizzy screamed in agony.
"Look after Ciel for me. Ok?" Breathed Lizzy, her eyes then rolled back in their sockets and closed for good.
"LIZZY!"
Sky turned and saw Ciel in the doorway in his nightgown and behind him was Sebastian.
Ciel stood and his eyes widened.
"Sky?" He asked.
Sky was confused for a moment, then realised she was still holding the knife.
"Ciel...this...this isn't what it looks like" she said desperately.
However Sky could see Ciel was already convinced that it was her fault upon seeing the scene.
"You killed her..." Ciel breathed and stumbled towards Lizzy's dead body lying on the bed. Sky stepped aside allowing Ciel to kneel next to Lizzy. He stroked her face that was splattered with deep red blood and to Sky's surprise Ciel began to cry.
"Lizzy..." He sobbed his tears fell heavily. Ciel then became angry and turned to Sky and she backed away upon seeing Ciel's eyes. His normal blue eye was crying normal crystal tears, however the eye with the contract seal was crying deep red blood. Sky was shocked and hurt to his eyes filled with anger, hate and disgust towards her.
"I let you stay! I trusted you! And you killed my betrothed Elizabeth! I trusted you Sky! Do you have any idea of the life she had ahead?! She was so sweet and lovely! Why Sky?! TELL ME!" Ciel roared as he got up and advanced towards her, Sky backed away.
"Ciel please, I didn't kill her, I swear it was..." She began.
"DONT LIE TO ME!! YOU HAD THE KNIFE! YOU HAVE HER BLOOD ON YOUR HANDS AND FACE!! YOU DID IT SKY, THE EVIDENCE AND WHAT I SAW, IT ALL PONITS TO YOU!" Scream Ciel.
"Ciel please..." Begged Sky, she felt her own eyes well up at being accused of murdering Lizzy.
"I don't want to hear it! Get out!" Ciel shouted.
Sky stood shocked for a moment, she felt like she had been punched in the stomach. Ciel turned and walked back to the bed where Lizzy lay in a eternal sleep. He knelt beside her.
"Ciel I..." She began.
"GET OUT!!" He shouted.
Sky's tears began to fall and she ran out the room and down the hall.
"Sky!" Sebastian called out, but he was ignored as Sky continued to run. Sebastian looked at Ciel then down the hall, he choose to go after Sky. He dashed in the direction she had run and in no time he was at her door. He knocked and then entered, he found her crying into her pillow lying on her bed. He went and sat on the bed next to her and stroked her hair. Sky jumped a little and Sebastian pulled his hand away quickly, Sky turned and saw who had touched her. Looking down at her was Sebastian.
"Why are you here?" She sobbed, as she wiped away crystal and blood tears.
"I know you didn't kill her" Sebastian replied calmly.
Sky looked at him shocked.
"It was the assassins group, wasn't it?" He said.
Sky nodded slowly.
"They found me and they are trying to hurt me as much as possible" she explained.
"I see now, they are punishing you for not killing the young master" sighed Sebastian.
Again Sky nodded.
She then got up and went to her closet. she picked out her fully black outfit and threw the cloths on the bed.
"What are you doing?" Asked Sebastian confused.
"Ciel told me to get out so I have to go. I don't know where I will go but I'm not going back there and I can't stay here" she explained.
Sebastian walked over to her and placed a hand on her head, Sky looked up at him.
"You don't have to leave, you have a contract with me so you must stay, and also the young master may have told you to get out however he just upset and angry. He doesn't mean it, he isn't thinking clearly right now. I will talk to him later and explain it wasn't you. I have learnt by serving many humans that they go off what they see and when they are upset they take their anger and pain out on others. Let him clam down" explained Sebastian.
Sky looked at Sebastian and then hugged him tight. Sebastian stood for a moment unsure what to do but he then returned the hug.
"Thank you Sebastian, you are so kind" said Sky quietly.
Sebastian looked confused.
"I do nothing of kindness my lady, I do but only what the contract states" he said.
"Demons know nothing about kindness"
