Rowen's P.O.V

I wrapped my brown coat closer to my body as the beginning winds of winter blew, even though it was technically still fall. My grip on the sunflowers tightened as I finished my last sentence.

"I have missed you so much," I say as a single tear rolls down my cheek.

I placed the sunflowers next to the grave and then wipe away the tear with my sleeve.

"Mommy!" I hear a familiar voice say.

I turn around and see my little girl running towards me.

"This is my daughter, Ella Nancy Allen!" I say picking her up and setting her on my hip.

"Of course I used mom's name and Aunt Nancy's name. The boy I told you about in the story, Keegan. We got married and that's his last name." I looked at Ella and then at the ring on my hand an smiled.

"Mommy who are you talking to?" Ella asked.

"I'm talking to your grandpa,"I answer and then kiss her forehead.

"I see you already found mommy!" Keegan said tickling our little four year old.

"Hey don't kick your little brother," Keegan said taking her out of my arms.

"Dad, I almost forgot to tell you that I'm also pregnant with a baby boy!" I say rubbing the bump on my stomach.

"We are going to name him Ethan Dylan Allen . Of course we named him Dylan after you. We just loved the name Ethan so that's what his name is going to be. " Keegan said wrapping his free arm around my waist.

Clouds had started to move in and take over the sky and soon snow took over the ground it was such a beautiful sight.

"I love you dad, I miss you as well." I said going over to his grave and blowing a kiss as if my dad could see it and blow one back.

Keegan put Ella down and she ran to make snow angels in the snow. As I walked toward her leaving Keegan alone I heard him keep speaking.

"Thank you for trusting me with your daughter . She has made me the happiest man alive. I only wish you were here to see how we became. I wish you could see your beautiful grandchildren. Ella looks so much like Rowen. I don't think I would have ever been able to win her back if you hadn't given me the confidence even though you aren't actually here." I turned around to see him hugging the flowers and then setting them back down next to the grave.

A huge smile grew across my fare as I saw my husband do this. I looked up at the sky as if to say something to my dad but I stopped and continued to smile at the white flurries that continued to fall.

"Momma can we ice skate?" Ella asked .

She said as we got to the lake were it use to be unfrozen with a waterfall trickling into it. The place where my dad had died and where I officially fell in love with Keegan.

"Let's ask daddy. " I said as he came up next to us already knowing why was going on.

"Let me go to the truck and get the ice skates." He said before going to his beat up truck that he he had since high school. Oh how I loved that truck and it hasn't given up one us not once.

Sadly with the new baby on the way we going to get another car so I could get them where they needed to be.

Keegan held up Ella's tiny pair and mine and his pair of ice skates up. We met him the pond and put the skates on.

"Are you going to be okay?" Keegan asked referring to the baby.

" I will be perfectly fine," I responded giving him a reassuring smile.

Keegan went out on the frozen ice first to make sure we wouldn't fall through and it was perfectly safe.

We skates for a good time and then Ella was so tired she fell into the snow and fell fast asleep. My poor baby.

I laid down beside her followed by Keegan . We laid there in silence as we felt the snow stop falling.

"Babe do you remember what you said that night in the back of my truck when I took you on that date?" Keegan questioned propping himself up on his elbow.

"Why do you ask?" I asked curious.

" I really liked it an I have always remembered to this day. It was like your quote or something. I just loved the way it suited your situation." He responded with a smile.

I smiled back and then said, " Thank you for helping me forget." I kissed him with the same passion I had that night and added even more love remembering our wedding, the birth of our daughter, looking at the pregnancy test an finding out I was pregnant again, and when I just saw him talking to my dad's tombstone and holding the flowers.

"I love you so much," he said kissing my lips again.

"I love you too," I said back and just thought about that night when I thanked my dad for helping me forget as well.
