Chapter 25:

*rowen's pov*

I never knew my life could change in an instant. One moment I was Happy with the people I love an the next I was sitting in the middle of nowhere with a broken heart. I could only imagine what Keegan was feeling right now. I still couldn't shake the feeling of disappointment and most of all betrayal. He completely took advantage of me at my weak point. And I will never forgive him. I'm rebuilding the walls around my heart I had to sturdily put in the beginning before he knocked them down.

I stood up and started walking back to the park entrance when I looked up at the sky. It was sunny and warm, the complete opposite of my feelings. "How ironic." I muttered. I pulled my phone out of my pocket and saw that I had 15 missed calls and they were all from kaylee and Kayla. I decided to call Kayla back since it was so urgent.

"Hello?!" Kayla screamed into the phone, "where the hell have you been?!"

"Out." I said glumly. I was not in the mood.

"You scared the shit out of us! We were worried sick your aunt Nancy is out there looking for you! You were gone for six hours!" She screamed in a frantic panic. God she was going crazy. Again.

"IM FINE!" I shouted," I'm not hurt or anything so I'm fine ill be at your house in 10."

I quickly hung up not waiting for her reply. I seriously wasn't in the mood today.

*kayla's pov*

Rowen hung up and I groaned. What am I going to do with that child. I swear. I looked over at a panicked Keegan. His face was red and his eyes were puffy from crying. His leg was bouncing up and down from nervousness. "She's fine." I whispered slowly. He looked up at me with a sigh of relief. I noticed his leg stop bouncing.

"Thank god." He muttered as he put his head in his hands.

Zach came in and put his arm around my waist I leaned my head on his shoulder and sighed. "Is she alright?" He asked quietly. I just nodded. "Good." He replied to my nod.

"She's hurt." I said barely audible, "I can't tell by the way she talked on the phone. I turned over to Keegan. "She didn't want to hurt you you know but that's the only favor she could return to what you did to her." I said starting to get slightly pissed.

He looked up at me with so much sorrow in his eyes. "I understand." He whispered.

"NO YOU OBVIOUSLY DON'T IDIOT!" I spat, "IF YOU WERE SANE ENOUGH YOU WOULD'VE KNOWN NOT TO DO IT! NOW LOOK AT HER SHE'S BROKEN!"I stepped away from Zach and walked closer to Keegan. He backed up looking scared as hell. Well good he better.

The hurt in his eyes were prominent. But I kept going. "You ungrateful bastard.. You broke ear heart and know her walls will be built up again and they will be so hard to mock down again. You completely lost her trust. It's all your fault too. To go slob wit the bet!" I slapped him across the face and he froze.

"Whoa. Whoa. Whoa! What the hell is going I here?!" Kaylee yelled. The minute she walked in was when I slapped him. Now she pulled me away as Zach tried to help.

"YOU BROKE HER YOU BASTARD YOU BROKE HER HEART!" I screamed one last time to let it sink in.

*keegan's pov*

The moment she slapped me is when I knew that I screwed up. Big. Time. It stung but then I realized it didn't hurt as much as my heart did right now. I truly loved rowen. I really did. I just had to prove it to her again.

"But you screwed it up." I whispered trying to deal with this situation. I didn't know what to do. I needed her back and I had to do it to where she will trust me again. I need help too. From kaylee as Kayla. I will have to talk to Sam too. This was it. I was gonna try to win her back but what I was gonna do.. I don't know.

That's when I realized something so important that will drive me more insane than ever.
