Chapter 27:

*rowen's pov*

I slapped him. I felt really bad too. But then again I think back to what ha happened and he deserved it really. But that still didn't stop me from feeling bad. I just wish he wouldn't make it so hard to resist him. I still liked him, hell I think I love him.

Today was just another school day. Another day I have to be reminded that Keegan and I aren't together anymore. Another day that makes me realize how much I actually need him.

I walked up the steps of the school when I looked up and saw some kid from my English class. I think his name was Leo? All I knew was that he was another player that Keegan knew.

"Hey rowen." He said smirking at me. Um. Okay.

"Oh hey Leo." I said looking at him weirdly. "Is there anything you need?" I asked.

"We'll. I heard you and Keegan broke up right?" I nodded to tell him to go on. "And I think you are really fit and Meagan is throwing a party Friday and I wanted to know if you wanted to go with me."

Okay. Any other time I would've immediately said no to someone like Leo but I started to consider it. "Is Keegan going to be there?" I asked suspiciously.

"Yep." Leo said. "I talked to him this morning about it."

Perfect. I nodded. "Sure I would love too!" I chirped. He smirked.

"Wonderful." I said back. "See you later, babe." He turned around and winked at me before going in the school.

Great. Payback time.

*kaylee's pov*

"Sam! Stop!" I screamed as he picked me up and flung me over his shoulder. "Put me down!" I squealed in protest.

Yes me and Sam got back together after he did the sweetest thing imaginable. He literally state outside my house for hours in the freezing cold to apologize to me. I couldn't resist.

He froze in his tracks and put me down almost instantly. "Sam.? Are you okay?" I waved my hand in front if his face. He caught me wrist and put it down by my side.

"Is that rowen and.... Leo?" He asked almost in a whisper. I gasped and turned my head to look in the direction he was looking in.

My eyes widened. Oh lord. There rowen was with Leo as he talked to her. What was he doing?! He was worse than Keegan! Literally! I saw him turn around and wink before going inside. Oh he'll no I had to figure out what he told her. It was probably about Megan's party Friday night. Me and Sam were going too.

"Sam I gotta go see you at lunch." I didn't even look over at him or wait for his answer before I took off running towards rowen who was mischievously smiling.

"Rowen!" I shouted. She snapped out of her thoughts and turned to look at me. She ten smiled.

"I saw you talking to Leo. What was that about."

"Oh nothing. He just asked me to Megan's party Friday." She said nonchalantly.

"Annndddd.?" I asked telling her to go on.

"I said sure." She shrugged her shoulders. I smacked her arm hard.

"What the hell kaylee!!" She screeched.

"Rowen! He's worse then Keegan. He'll break your wart faster than anyone! He's using you!" I shouted and grabbed her arm to stop her.

"Not before I use him first." She smiled. A hint of devil in her. Oh lord.

"What do you mean.?" I asked slowly and cautiously.

"Keegan is gonna be jealous." She sing-songed. I mentally face-palmed. Of course she wants him to be jealous.

"Rowen what are you doing?" I whined. "You know that Keegan really loves you and he want you back. Please do not do this to him." I true to convince her but she didn't budge.

She shook her head and I could hint a bit of sadness in her eyes. "No." She demanded. "He needs to now what It feels like." She whispered. Years sprang in her eyes.

"Oh rowen." I whispered. I wrapped my arms around her and squeezed. "I still hate Keegan for what he did to you but this isn't the answer."

She sniffled and pulled away. She looked at me with such an intensity that I can't even explain.

"No." She said again. And my heart dropped. I hate seeing her like this. It's miserable and she's only going to hurt herself even more by doing this.

I huffed and grabbed her wrist. "Where are we going?!" She hissed.

"We are going to talk to KAYLA about this." I hissed back. Kayla always deals with this stuff.

"Fine." Rowen huffed.

We walked down the hallway. Well more like me stomping and dragging rowen along. I noticed a few stares but I didn't care. I rolled my eyes and kept on.

When we reached Kayla she was at her locker snogging Zach. I pulled him away from her. "Get lost." I spat.

He was used to my anger so he just chuckled and walked away.

"Kaylee!!" Kayla snapped.

"Shut up." I grumbled. "We have a crisis." She raised her eyebrows in question and I pulled rowen out from behind me.

"We have a rowen crisis Kayla.
