" There it is , the gates to hell. " I said to my life long best friend , Ariella , we've been friends since before we could talk. Even our mothers are best friends .
I'm Chloe. I'm 17 , I have long straight chestnut brown hair, and bright green eyes. I wouldn't quite call myself " popular " , I just have a group of friends that I hang out with. But atleast that's better than all the sluts and druggies at my school. I hated being in the spot light. It was easy for me not to get noticed anyways. Boys never really paid attention to me. I've never even had a boyfriend , unless you count the one I had in first grade .
" School isn't that bad. " she responded as her blonde hair blew in the wind
" Not everyone is an A + student like you. " I replied
" Oh shut up ! " she said as we walked inside
We sat on the tables , talking about the project that was due next week , when he came along .
" Hey Chloe " he smirked " What
are you doing here ? "
I looked a him like he was an idiot
" It's school , I'm supposed to be here ." I hissed
" Woah woah woah , no need to get feisty. "
I rolled my eyes at him.
I know every girl at the school would be head over heels for Luke Brooks , but I'm not. I don't even know what they see in him. He's been a such twat to me ever since we were little. I never understood why he was so mean to me. He's a completely different person to Ariella and every other person in the school. I didn't let it bother me too much though.
On the corner of my eye I see Luke's twin brother , Jai walking toward us. My heart starts beating out of my chest. I've had a crush on him since primary school .
" Hey Chloe , hey Ariella . " he said with the biggest smile that made my heart melt
" Hey Jai . " We replied
I felt so warm and comfortable around him. Ugh I couldn't handle how cute he was. Jai was just perfect , he was sweet , nice , funny , smart , basically everything Luke wasn't. I still couldn't believe they came from the same genes .
Luke knocked me out of my trance
" You know you can take a
picture , it will last longer."
" Please excuse my brother , he isn't usually that rude ." Jai apologized .
Right when I was about to reply , the first period bell rang .
" Well I got to go to class , bye ladies." he said
I made sure Luke left as well before we could talk .
" You stared at him for almost an eternity ! "
" Oh my god , ugh I'm such a dope around him! " I said in embarrassment
" When are you gonna tell him you like him ? " " You've had a crush on him for ages !!!! "
" Um never aHAHA." I laughed hysterically
Ariella tried keeping a straight face , but ended up joining me .
" C'mon , I don't want to be late to math class." I told her
We hurried along , making it right on the final bell .
