" Hey " I smiled at Jai who walked up and sat on the same log as me

" Hey " he replied

Four logs were placed in a square bordering the camp fire. Me and Jai sat diagonally from Beau and Karissa, on the left of us was Ariella and Daniel, and on my right was James.

Where was luke ?

~ Jai's POV ~

Her face was firm. I could tell she was thinking because she would always pulled a stiff face.

I want to get inside her head. I want to know how she feel, what makes her happy and upset. I want to know her.

" Chloe ? You alright babe ? " I asked

" Um ya " she darted her eyes at me

~ Luke's POV ~

I decided to join their little bonfire so that no one would suspect anything was up. But being twins I could sense that Jai knew something was up.

The moment I sat down next to James, I felt that I got stuck in the jello of awkward.

" Um I'm going to get some more marshmallows " Chloe got up

I knew the real reason why she went up was to get further away from me.

I sighed

" Actually I'm gonna get some more marshmallows too " Beau followed

What was he doing ?

~ Chloe's POV ~

I could feel everything getting so awkward. So I needed to make an excuse to make the whole situation less awkward, or at least for a moment.

From the corner of my eye, I see Beau.

As he walked up from behind I pretended to look for the marshmallows on the table.

" Hey " I greeted as he walked up next to me

" Hey " he smiled

Wow things just got more awkward

I rarely ever spoke to Beau, only ever small talk.

" Um you know I wasn't supposed to say anything but-" Beau said out of the blue but stopped in his tracks

" Yes ? " I said confused " Go on "

" Well Jai really likes you " he confessed

" What ? " I laughed

" It's true ! And by like I mean really really like "

Even though Jai's actions reflected his feelings for me. It never really occurred to me that he actually liked me. It just seemed all too good to be true.

" But why ? " I asked

" Why what ? "

" Why would he like me ? "

" Are you really serious ? " He asked as if I was clueless " You're a stunning girl Chloe and if you don't realize that then you need to check yourself. "

My cheeks were flushed with red.

" Aw thanks Beau " I smiled

" Anytime " he winked " Oh and promise me you'll keep this convo between us two ok ? "

~ Jai's POV ~

I looked over at them, all I saw was laughing. I wish I could make out what they were saying. Jesus, if Beau said anything to Chloe I would kill him.
