Maths class was boring , as usual . I was just about to fall asleep when I felt something hit my head . I turned to see what it was , but I already had a good bet on who it was . Luke smiled and waved.
" Problem ? "
" What's your problem ?! " I yelled so loud that the whole class could hear me
" I didn't do anything , stop accusing me . "
Right when I was about to tell him off , the teacher caught my attention . " Chloe , Luke , I don't respect you two disturbing my class . "
" But ... "
" Save it for detention . "
" That's so not fair ! " I protested
I could hear Luke laughing at me from the back .
" Same goes for you Mr.Brooks . " Mr. Stratford said
Suddenly Luke's cheeky smirk turned into a frown .
Automatically , my spirit was lifted , it made me happy to see that I wasn't the only one who got introuble . I was still angry at the fact that I got detention .

After maths , we finished PE and walked to lunch .
" What's wrong ? " Ariella asked as we were walking to lunch
" I can't believe I have detention ." I said while staring down at the ground
" It's not that bad."
" NOT THAT BAD ?! NOT THAT BAD ?! People like me don't survive in detention. "
" Hey atleast you have Luke to keep you company " she said trying to cheer me up
" Ugh don't even remind me . "
I hated the thought of him . Even his name made me cringe. I was too busy staring at my shoes to notice the person I bumped into.
" Watch where your going ." I said rudely , looking up to see Jai's face
" Oh my god , I'm so sorry . " he replied
My face turned ruby red in embarrassment.
" Don't apologize , it's my fault for not looking where I'm going . Sorry for being rude I'm just in a bad mood . "
" Hey would you and Ariella like to have lunch with me and Ryan ? " he asked while looking at me with his beautiful hazel eyes
The way he looked at me made me feel at home . I can't believe he actually invited me to lunch . You would've thought something would happen between us , since we knew each other since primary. Wrong ! Perfect guys like him never go for girls like me . I guess he never had feelings for me . I tried hard to stop , but his smile was worth it all .
" Of course we would " Ariella said with a smile
" Let's go then . " he said , letting us go first
" Fuck , how long was I staring at him this time ? " I whispered to Ariella barely making a peep to make sure that Jai didn't hear anything
" About a minuet "
I couldn't never handle myself around him . Everything about him was amazing .

" Hey guys over here " yelled Ryan all the way across the cafeteria
We got our way to the lunch table and sat down . I sat across from Jai while Ariella sat across from Ryan . I was so stuck on what to say , I didn't want to choke and make a fool of myself again . I shoved a big mouthful of spaghetti in my mouth so I would have an excuse to not talk. I could hear laughs , I looked up to see where it was coming from . It was just Jai giggling .
" Whats so funny ? " I questioned him
" The way you eat spaghetti , it's cute . "
" Oh , aha thanks " I said while looking down so he couldn't see me blush
I couldn't believe he called me cute . My face felt so red . I didn't want him too see me but I'm guessing he did by the way he kept staring at me .
" Mama Mia that's a spicy meatball ! " Jai said trying to do his best Italian accent
I couldn't help but burst out laughing . I was so loud that the people on the next table could hear . But that made me laugh even more . I guess it was really funny because Jai joined in laughing with me . I felt a tap on my shoulder , it was the lunch lady . She yelled at us for making a ruckus then forced us to leave . After a moment of processing what just happened . I couldn't help but laugh one more time .
" AHAHAHA we're so dumb " I said humorously
" We should do that again sometime . "
" Yea we should . " I smiled
