Authors note : Sorry for not updating. I'm really busy with school work , so I might skip some weeks . I have no inspiration on what to write anymore . Enjoy the chapter guys :)

The walk to school was really silent . I didn't want to look at him so I planted my eyes on the ground.
We made it just in time for the first bell to ring. I walked into maths awkwardly with luke following from behind .
" Hey " Ariella said brightly
" Um hey "
" What's wrong "
I was about to tell her but Stratford interrupted us.
" Okay class , take out your text book and turn to page 57 "
I didn't want to get detention again so I wrote her what happened.
I passed her the note ,but Mr.Stratford came by and snatched the letter out of our hands.
" I'll be taking that . "
" Oh my god that's not fair. "
" Life isn't fair . You ladies know not to pass notes in class. To make sure you won't do it again I'm going to read it out loud , to the whole class ."
I froze , everyone would hear about me and Luke almost kissing and things between me and him would get more awkward .
Mr.Stratford cleared his throat and started reading .
" So like what happened was " he said trying to mimic me " I was walking to school and then I went to the park to feed the squirrels . "
" Ooh this is getting interesting ! " he said sarcastically
I gave Ariella a worried glance and then looked over to Luke. My face turned red and I sank in my chair , hoping no one would notice me . I think Luke knew what the note said because he sat trying to hide himself as well .
" Luke was behind me and I was scared because I thought it was some stranger and we almost ..." Mr.Stratford read along , not finishing the sentence
" MR.STRATFORD !!! THERES A MOUSE RUNNING AROUND ! " Ariella yelled
Almost the whole class, including the boys screamed.
" Don't panic. Everyone get out of the class room and I'll call maintenance . "
The whole class evacuated the classroom . I was so relived he didn't get to the kissing part .
" That was a stroke of luck wasn't it ? "
" Or it was your best friend trying to keep you from getting embarrassed ! "
" Thank you so much . I owe you one. "
About 5 minuets later , maintenance came . Of course they didn't find anything and left.
The whole class forgot about the letter and we carried on with the math lesson .

I covered her mouth before that horrible word could come out .
