"So people have been talking about the Amy thing...apparently 'according the the wannabes' it was all JoJo's idea...'apparently' it was some payback for Amy telling some fake rumor about JoJo being prego! But everyone knows that's not true, and of course Amy didn't show up at school today!" Lauren smiled. "Of course, Miss Number 4 Hottie!" I replied laughing a little "These wannabes know nothing! WE did this to Amy because...well we're us...we can do this, and I am SOO not prego!" Sammie laughed pulling her hat off. Hats are never a good idea. I looked up from our lunch cafeteria table and stared at Danny. He reluctantly looked back, giving me a wink and sitting down his plastic spoon to come over to us. Danny grabbed my waist and gave me a peck on the cheek like usual.
Yesterday Jaden, Sammie, Me and Danny all went out to Sartre, a fancy silk and pearl themed restaurant, one of the best in California. The night was filled with laughs and jokes and gossip, and of course breadsticks! Lots and lots of breadsticks. 40 minutes before Danny was supposed to pick me up, Sammie invited me over for a pre-primp. She did my hair, straightened with my bangs pulled back in a poof. She did my makeup, black eyeliner on the top and bottom and then golden metallic eye shadow, she even glued on fake lashes for me. Then peach lipstick and bronzer, lots and lots of bronzer even though I was already dark from the California sunshine. I had never felt prettier, and Danny had never seen me prettier. Luke Maxwell was old news, he was the new second best, and I was dating THE best. Things had changed from then on. Every day it was me, checking my hair or makeup in a diamond studded pocket mirror. There was no more scary Mrs. Cates driving me to school anymore, instead Savannah Parks' big brother would pick me up in his red convertible with Ally, Sammie, Lauren and his little sis. Also, people were staring at me, everywhere, like I was some celebrity or something. I had my own personal followers.
"Jordan!" I heard someone say "Jordan! Hello?" I had zoned out on the phone with Sammie. "Oh sorry Sammie!" I apologize grabbing an apple. "Don't eat!" Sammie scolded almost reading my mind although she couldn't see me through the phone "Hun, your skinny but you can't stay skinny forever by stuffing your face!" I could hear Sammie and another girl giggle on the other line. I slowly put down the apple and sucked in my stomach even though I knew no one could see me. "Whatevs Sammie!" I replied acting like it didn't hurt. I could practically tell what Sammie was doing through the phone. She would be sitting cross legged on her pink princess canopy bed wearing a Juicy Couture track hoodie and a mini skirt. Ally, or one of the other girls, was probably worshipping her and laughing at every snarky comment Sammie said. "Anyways...Hot or Not list comes out tomorrow, you excited to get 2nd?" Sammie said. "Uh yeah! I mean me and 'Vannah are pretty tied when it comes to looks" I replied throwing my long hair back over my shoulder. "Shut up! Savannah's just skinnier" I sucked in my stomach again "But, like no offense, don't tell 'Vannah I said this but she's a little weird looking...I mean the spacing between her eyes? She looks like she has freaking down syndrome!" Sammie whispered. I giggled a bit thinking about Savannah's eyes. "But anyways I gotta go practice my #1 Hottie speech for tomorrow! Bye beyotchh!" Sammie hung up not even waiting for me to say 'bye' or anything back. Whatever, I had another phone call to make.
