I wake up to see the daylight shining through the window.  I awoke and realized, that nobody else was in the room with me. I got up from the bed, and walked outside. And I found everybody.

"Alright! 20 push ups!" Ethan announced.

I walked towards them. Ethan stopped, and looked up at me.

"You're late!" He says.

"Well, I actually thought you'd have to wake us up..." I said.

"Just shut up, and do your warm ups," He demanded.

I listened to what he said. I did 20 push ups with them.

After we were all completed, I saw Ethan, Mia, and Nick getting together and talking.

I walked up to Janessa and the others to see if they knew anything.

"What's going on?" I asked.

The three of them all walked away from me, into the cabin.

"Oh, so what you're not going to talk to me?!" I yelled.

I turned back around, and I saw Ethan, Mia, and Nick running inside the walls. I ran towards them to get a better view, but then I was stopped by Ryan.

"What the hell were you thinking?!" Ryan asked.

"I wasn't going to go inside. Just getting a better view!!!" I replied.

"Look Alan, I know your new here, but use your fucking head, you imbecile!!!" He said.

"Oh shut the fuck up, you crack head!!!" I said.

I walked away, and walked into the forest. Ethan, Mia, and Nick had still yet not returned, as it was getting to become dark.

Then Ryan came behind me, and sat beside me.

"What do you want?" I asked.

"Look. I'm sorry..." He says. "I'm sorry for everything... You going into the first games, experiencing your friend's deaths, and for coming back here..." He said.

"Wait, what?" I asked.

"Yeah... I said I'm sorry," He said.

"No I heard that. But how do you know I was in some sort of Games?" I asked.

"Nevermind..." He said.

"No, please. Tell me," I said.

"Mia told us all about you guys, and so did Nick. They knew you were coming days before you guys came," He said.

"Mia and Nick?" I asked.

"Yeah. She would always know why we all came here. She said if we didn't know at the moment... It'll come back to us," He said.

"Then help me understand this. What is behind those walls?" I asked.

"Behind this walls... It's a maze- like map. Ethan, Mia, and Nick have been finding a way out. But there's no use. They go out there every single day to locate the exit," He explained.

"So how's it going?" I asked.

"Well they still haven't found an exit. But I do have an answer for you," He says.

"What is it?" I asked.

"Wait. I need to tell you more," He says.

"Go on," I say.

"It first starts off as a maze, but when you get deeper and deeper inside, the walls and floor turns into a dark reddish brown color. From there, it's no longer a maze... It's a fortress," He says.

"A fortress? But why?" I asked.

"Because it contains lava, and bridges," Ryan says.

"So. How can you escape?" I asked.

Ryan started to mumble the words, and I tried to take him serious, while trying not to laugh.

"In English," I said.

"The statistical probability of surging the fortress... It's impossible," He says.

Then he gave me the signal to turn my head around. There they were. Ethan, Mia, and Nick made it.
