We had all fallen asleep after the conversation... I first felt the ground shaking a little bit... Then, from a little bit began from rumbling.
The floor began to move faster and faster. As if the floor were Tectonic Plates, creating an earthquake...
"The first section is opening..." Ethan whispered.
"What section?" I asked.
"The Alligators..." Ethan replied.
We all his underneath the gap inside the wall. There was a tiny bit of vines covering the wall, hopefully it was able to hide us.
We could all hear the feet of the creature waddling on the stone floor... At first it sound like it was just one alligator... But we were all wrong.
As I was able to look through the vines, we saw a Hurd of a total of 8 alligators. We could hear all of their breathing sounds.
I kept my eye on one of the alligators. I made sure that it was walking past all of us, so we could maybe run away from them.
The alligator I we staring at stopped walking, and so did the others. They all rattled their tails all together for about 5 seconds... One of them searched closer to us.
I saw Mia holding her knife, ready to attack. The alligator came closer to s, and smelled the place.
The alligator growled towards Mia's direction, and the Hurd of alligators all came closer to investigate.
Mia then stabbed the alligator in the face and took her knife out. The alligator screamed, and we all started running away.
We all followed Mia and Ethan as they lead the way. The alligators were walking towards us pretty fast.
"Everybody try to keep up, we have a trap for them," Ethan says.
We all followed them. I grabbed out the weapon that was in my backpack. It was a spear weapon, with a long price of rope sticking out the end of it.
I held the weapon in my hand, and everybody else did the same. Janessa had a knife. Caleb and Jade both had a sword.
We were coming across a dead end.
"Everybody split up, and get on one side of a wall," Ethan says.
Ethan, Mia, Nick and Kyleah all got on one side. Janessa, Caleb, Jade, and I got on the other.
The alligators were coming closer, and closer.
"Ethan what are we doing?!" I asked.
"Trust me," Ethan replies.
As the alligators got closer and closer, Ethan grabbed on the vine on the wall.
"Now!!!" Ethan yells.
We all grabbed on the vine, and climbed our ways up to the top. The floor was now breaking apart, and the alligators fell inside the lava.
"Keep climbing. Don't stop until you've reached the top!" Ethan says.
"Wow... We cheated death once again..." Caleb says.
