The Games: Part II

22.

After all 8 of us escaped from getting killed from the Beetle Blades, we made it to another part of the Fortress.

We couldn't see anymore of the vicious creatures trying to get to us. They were all gone. All fell into the lava...

"Do you hear that?" Jade asks.

"Hear what?" Ethan asks.

"Look," Caleb says.

Caleb points out in the darkness a flying hovercraft with about 3 lights on the ship. It was flying towards the part of the Fortress we were just in... Where the Beetle Blades tried to attack us.

The hovercraft flew over, and it stopped. It was hovering over the walls. We all stood there scared for our lives.

"Could they see us?" I asked.

"Probably not," Ethan says.

The hovercraft exploded that part of the Fortress. The bomb was so huge, it caused all of us to fall to the ground.

It kept on flying and blowing up the rest of the Fortress, that we've already gone through.

We all got up and started running away. We could hear the bombs in the background.

We made it pretty far enough from the ship.

"Why are they doing this?" Nick asked.

"Our time was up..." I said.

Then we hear the bombs going off again. Even though that the sounds were far away, they were dropping more bombs.

"They're dropping more?" Mia asks.

"They think we're over there..." I say.

"But we're not," Nick says.

"Yeah no shit!" Janessa says.

"They're heading towards the Village..." Ethan says.

We watched as the ship flew over to the Village, and bombed it. They were dropping about 4 bombs at a time...

"Of course," Mia says.

"What?" Ethan asks.

"They said if we didn't leave, we were met with a surprise..." Mia says.

"We would've died..." I said.

"Ouch!!!" Caleb says.

"What's wrong?" I ask.

I saw Caleb falling on the floor. He was crawled up in a ball. I rushed to him.

"Caleb what's wrong?" I asked.

"My foot!!! It's burning!!!" Caleb says.

I went to see what the issue was with his leg. His leg was swollen, and really red.

"Oh shit..." Ethan says.

"What's wrong?!" Janessa asks.

"The Dole Worms... They've already opened the section. And we didn't know..." Ethan says.

"Sssssssssssss"

We all heard a hissing sound from behind us.

"Sssssssssssss"

"What's that sound???" Jade asks.

"They're here..." Mia says.

We all looked around us, and saw nothing...

"It's underground..." Caleb says.

"He's right. We have to leave now!!!" Ethan says.

"But his foot?!!" I said.

"Nick help me," Ethan says.

Ethan and Nick both walked towards us. They both grabbed him on each side, and picked him up.

"Walk," I say.

The floor in front of me broke. I saw the worm hissing at me.

"SHIT!!!" I say.

"KILL IT!!!" Ethan yells.

I take the spear and try to stab it. It quickly went back into the whole.

"Oh god," Janessa says.

"We need to leave now!!!" Ethan says.

{Ethan's Point of View}

"We need to leave now!!!" I yelled.

"Ethan watch out!!!" Nick yells.

The worm breaks the floor beneath me, and hisses.

I grab my knife and quickly stab it in the face repeatedly.

"RUN!!!" I yell.

{Alan's Point of View}

All of us except Ethan, Caleb, and Nick ran. The rest stayed behind.

The worms would come breaking through the wholes, and we'd stab them to death.

"Keep going!!! There should be another bridge that can use to ditch them.

One of the worms was slithering towards Ethan and knocked him to the ground. His knife fell into the lava. The worm slithered closer to him.

Janessa then kicked the creature off of the floor and into the lava.

"Thanks," Ethan says.

"No problem," Janessa says.

She helps him up. Ethan grabs Janessa by the chin and kisses her.

"It's not Sexy Time!!!" Mia yells.

Ethan ran with Janessa holding their hands together, as we all walked on the bridge.
