Year 1 - Diagon Alley

Eleanor read over a dozen times the content of the letter, the Hogwarts wax seal was undeniable. She was going to school.. To a magical school! In a long time she hasn't been this excited. She waited for Severus to come home to tell him the good news.

"Mistress is to go to the School of Witchcraft and Wizardry!" Baxter exclaimed happily as he saw Eleanor's face lit up ever since the letter came. "I can't believe it.." She said.
"Of course mistress's parents are both wizards and witches, mistress would be one too!" Eleanor smiled at that. She wished she knew them..

Baxter did a happy dance and accidentally knocked into something behind him, and got hit on the back of his head by a roll of newspaper. He jumped around and saw Severus. "Master!"

"Severus.. I thought you promised me..?" Severus thought he didn't hit him that hard but yes she did made him promised to never hit his house elf. She sighed but quickly recovered and showed him her acceptance letter.
"I'm going to Hogwarts Severus!" She beamed and Severus gave an awkward smile back. He was still getting use to expressing himself. But he always had faith she'd get the letter.

"That's great Eleanor. Why don't you go down to Diagon Alley tomorrow with Baxter to get all your school stuff." He said calmly.
"I will." She smiled and look through the list of school books and materials to get.

Snape and Eleanor was currently inside the Gringotts Wizarding Bank, it's tall ceiling and marbled floor blinding to the eyes. It is her first time here.

"Do you wish to make a withdrawal, Ms. Prince..?" The head goblin behind the glossy counter scrutinized Eleanor through his glasses. She gulped at the sight of the goblin, his large pointy ears and ugly teeth.

"Yes she does." Snape placed the golden key on the counter, the key to William and Katherine's vault that was inherited by Eleanor.

"Very well." He spoke to another goblin and he told us to follow him. Soon we were in the underground passage, traveling through stonewalls in the goblin cart towards vault 582. "Key please." Snape passes it and we watched as the goblin opens the vault, revealing a handsome sum of galleons and gemstones. Severus breathed out in relief, glad that her parents made a separate savings for her, if not her grandparents might not be as generous to split the Prince's asset.

"This.. this is all for me?" Eleanor asked, wondering if her parents really left her with so much money. "Yes." Came her reply.

After the transaction and paperwork was done, Severus left Eleanor with Baxter and headed back to Hogwarts.

HOGWARTS SCHOOL of WITCHCRAFT and WIZARDRY

UNIFORM
First-year students will require:
1. Three sets of plain work robes (black)
2. One pair of protective gloves (dragon hide or similar)
3. One winter cloak (black, with silver fastenings)

7. Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them by Newt Scamander
8. The Dark Forces: A Guide to Self-Protection by Quentin Trimble
