As Harry, Ron Hermione and Eleanor filed into the train, he explained on how he blew up his aunt when he lost control of his anger. Eleanor could really empathize with his situation and felt bad for Harry. As they went into a compartment with a professor by the name of R.J. Lupin, Harry told the rest about Sirius black and how he broke out of Azkaban to come after Harry.

Out of a sudden, the train halts to a stop midway and engine sounds a bit cranked up. "What's happening..?" Ron whimpered. "I don't know. Sounds like we've broken down." Harry replied.

The temperature in the train dropped at an alarming rate so much so that their breaths are coming out in white wisps. "No.. there's something moving out there..!" Ron remarked, looking outside of the train window.

In the few seconds of eerie silence, Eleanor could hear ghostly sounds approaching nearer to them.

A black shadow overcast, followed by a creature that floats over and opened their compartment door without using his ghostly thin stick-like fingers. His body was like a black cape and his mouth was like looking into a hollow throat from above. Hermione gasped loudly as it approached Harry and started to devour something within him that seems to take away his cheerfulness. Another came and did the same to Eleanor.

All she could feel was pain and bitterness. Like numerous bad feelings flooding her system at once. It seems like the light is leaving her little by little.
A flash of broken memories from her childhood came alive. Her mother. Her relatives and grandparents. A graveyard. As though her brain went into an overload, she soon collapse as Harry did.

When she awoke again, the first thing or the first person she saw was a man with an old scar across his face. Like a scratch mark. His hair was brown and tousled messily. Despite the rather unwelcoming appearance, he smiled kindly as he gave her a piece of chocolate. Eleanor looked over at Hermione confused, and she explained to her what happened.

"You fainted Eleanor. The dementors was searching the train for Sirius Black but ended up doing this to you and Harry. Professor Lupin here managed to stop them in time." She gave a small smile to thanks to the man. "Here eat this. You'll feel better." He said. She nodded meekly and took a bite, and suddenly remembered Harry. She looked over at him and he appears to be in a haze still, munching on the chocolate bar nonchalantly.

"You two rest for now. I'll have a word with the driver." He stood up and got out of the compartment. Harry came to sit beside Eleanor, "You alright?" He wanted to rest his hands on hers, but decided not to anyway.
"Yeah.. you?" She asked. He nodded once and the group went into a moment of silence.

Draco and his goons was snickering about something when Professor Dumbledore was making his start-of-term announcements. Eleanor rubbed her temples feeling extra fatigue. Leah was concerned as well but Eleanor ensured her that she was fine.

Draco went ahead to disturb Harry again, as he did on countless occasions. "Psst! Potter! Is it true you fainted?" He asked. "I mean, you actually fainted?" He laughed with his friends, taunting Harry. "Shove off Malfoy!" Ron retorted, crossed with that blond hair bully.

"He isn't the only wimp we've got Draco." Pansy hinted at Eleanor and they looked over to her. She pretended like she didn't hear them, and Draco shot her a disgusted sneer before turning back to Pansy. "She's just another slytherin not worth mentioning." Pansy was taken aback at first of Draco's sudden attitude change towards Eleanor, but thought it was best for him to dislike that girl. She didn't like her too anyway, always around to seduce her Draco. She gave her a smug smirk and flipped her head arrogantly.

Leah rolled her eyes at her. "That snob." Fidgeting with her green uniform, Eleanor tried to ignore the dull ache in her chest when Draco refused to acknowledge her presence. She guess it's better to be hated than disregarded after all.

The feast ended soon enough but Eleanor did not have the mood to feast on anything. She managed to eat a few mouthful, just so she wouldn't worry Leah. Once they entered the slytherin common room, the usual dark lighting with a touch of emerald colour from the black lake. The students began to filed out to their dormitories.

"You go first. I want to stay here for a bit." She told Leah, who left with uncertainty. She looked out of the black lake quietly, feeling abnormally down. She sighed and went to the other side, intending to pour some tea for herself. When she rounded the corner, she accidentally bumped into someone and he caught her before she fell over.

"I'm so-" Before she apologized, she realized she was staring at Draco, who was equally surprised as her. He didn't managed to take a good look at Eleanor back in the great hall. Now seeing her close up, he saw that she was now more of a woman, her lips were tinted and her cheeks rosy. The same ocean blue eyes, but her features more feminine and demure. He resisted the temptation to sniff at her scent and quickly cleared his throat and shoved her away, acting normal again.

He turned with a stern expression, his lips curling into a upturn snarl. "I see now that things happen in pairs. Whatever happens to Potter will happen to you too huh?" He commented, placing his hands into his pockets.
"Like a true couple. Both weak and useless." Draco taunted her. Eleanor frowned a little at his words. "I don't know what you're trying to get at but it's not working." She walked past him and made a pot of tea. Then she start to feel his warmth radiating from behind her, and a pair of hands snaked onto her own, preventing her from pouring the tea.

She could hear his breath, his sturdy chest touching her back. She could already imagine how intimate this position would seem if someone happens to walk in on them. Then his lips grazed lightly on her ears, causing her to shiver and her hands jerked involuntarily. Which Draco definitely felt, and was pleased to know he still could affect her so.

"You lied." He whispered, tracing his hand up her arm slowly. She hated this feeling, like she was pinned to the ground without nails. She broke the invisible barrier and shook him off. "Hands off Malfoy." She gritted. He was slightly angered that she shattered the moment between them and he recalled her scathing words from last year.

Draco gripped her arms roughly. This is the first time she calls him by his last name. And he felt she was a little further away from his control and closer to Potter just with that one word. "Getting a little feisty hm?" He narrowed his eyes at her. "Don't test me, Eleanor. Once you have a taste of what I can do to hurt people," he squeezed her harder, wanting to hurt her, "you'll beg for mercy."

She didn't appreciate it when he was being generous to her. Patience runs thin. Especially for him.

He shoves past her and knocks onto her shoulders painfully. She let out a deep breath she didn't know she was holding.
