Samantha picked up the phone. "Hello, y-yes I need to speak to the police."
Suddenly, Froids big hands muffled her voice as they covered her mouth. "Say one more word and I'll snap your neck!" Samantha dropped the phone. "Now, I'm going to move my hand and you're not going to scream right?" Samantha shakes her head. Froid moved his hands and spun Samantha around so that she was facing him.
"Did you really kill all those people?" Samantha asked.
"Yes, yes I did," he sighed, no longer proud of his actions.
"Why?"
"They killed my family," he admitted.
"I'm not sure I can believe you," Samantha stated.
"I don't blame you. I don't have a lot of proof, that's why I ended up killing them myself."
"That's understandable, but I still don't trust you."
"And again, I don't blame you." He sighed. "I broke into your house twice, murdered people because they killed my family, and I look like an evil homeless person."
Samantha laughed at that, but quickly stopped and glared at him. "So, why are you here? Because, last time I checked, I'm not anyone special. Out of all the houses to break into and you pick mine? Why?"
"Because... I've been watching you outside your window." He said.
"Yeah, like that's not creepy at all..." Samantha said, sarcastically.
"It's not like that. I was only watching you, because you seemed lonely." He replied.
"I'm not lonely. I have Meimo." She said, folding her arms across her chest.
"Who's Miemo?" He asked, curiously.
"My cat. My best friend. The only one who stood by me when... my parents died..." She looked down sadly. It still hurt to talk about it.
"So... you're here all alone?"
"No! Weren't you listening?! I have Miemo!" She glared at him. Obviously, if he wasn't going to pay attention, then she wasn't going to give away anymore information.
"Right... Meimo the cat... but, no other humans with you, right?" He asked, rather hurriedly.
"No... You're still creeping me out..." She took a step away from him, keeping her arms crossed.
He grinned and took two steps towards her. "Good. I seem to have that effect on people."
She tried to back up more, but she hit the wall. There was nowhere else for her to go and she was scared.
