I know Merida is hiding something but it's not like I can tell her that.She may or may not know about the magik world.

At two in the morning the next day I wake up to the doorbell ringing.Who would be here at this time?I pull myself out of bed and exit my bedroom holding my fuzzy blanket around me.My bedroom is on the bottom floor unlike Ali's and Merida's rooms on second floor.

I trudge to the door and open it.Normally I would check to see who it is first but I'm still half asleep.I think I should've checked first though.I try to shut the door back before he can come through.I end up hitting his foot in the door instead.Corey yelps and then pushes the door open.I abandon my blanket and run to the other room.I climb over the couch and stand on it still a bit dazed from sleep.He runs into the room just as I'm collecting the energy.

"No no no.You."I say pointing to him"You stay back."I'm to tired to gather the energy fully so it ends up a tiny lightning ball in my hand.He raises an eyebrow at me.

I get annoyed and try to gather more energy but end up just pushing the energy back into the light.Then the lightning completely disappears from my hand.I face palm and then drop the to the couch."Go ahead.Kill me.You've defeated me.I can't even bloody make my lightning appear to save me.At least let me say goodbye to my dog."I say with my hands up.He comes around the couch and stands in front of me with his arms crossed."What?"He says.I put my arms down and say"well you're here to kill me aren't you?"He shakes his head."Why would you think that?"I shrug.I'm still a little loopy from sleep.I went to bed early but couldn't fall asleep until midnight so I've only had two hours of some sleep and the rest tossing and turning.

I close my eyes and lean back on the couch."I'm tired so either kill me or go away."I open my eyes after a few minutes of silence and he's gone.I stand up and shake my head.Maybe I imagined it.I slowly walk back to the foyer and see that the door is closed.I grab my blanket and start walking to the kitchen.I squeak and nearly have a heart attack when I see him rummaging through the fridge.He turns around and shuts the fridge at the sound of my squeak."I thought you weren't real!!"I shout and whisper."You thought I wasn't real?"He asks."Yes!I'm still half asleep!!!For all I know I'm imagining things!"I whisper.

He shakes his head and sits at the kitchen table with an apple.I roll my eyes and start walking up the stairs.Ali will definitely believe me if I show her Corey.And maybe then he'll take her as a sacrifice instead of me!Then nobody will be stealing my favorite cereal.No I'm pretty sure Ali will just haunt me and eat my cereal.

I enter Ali's room without knocking even though she's real picky about that.I walk over to her bed and shake her until she wakes up.I say to her"There's a Grancer in the kitchen."
