The only door in the room,also my only escape,flings open.The older boy from before steps in.The one who killed my mother.Who almost killed me.To late for calming down.Before I can take my anger and transform it into revenge he starts forming a cloud with lightning.The grey fluff goes all across the ceiling and lightning starts to form.I guess this guy didn't get the memo on what I could do.He makes the lightning hit me.It doesn't hurt just like it didn't hurt the first 13 times.

He tries again but all it does is give me more power.More lightning.I smirk.For once in my life I'm glad that storm happened.Now I can take revenge.I raise my hands to throw the lightning at him but stop when I see someone standing behind him.A woman.She simply touches him on the head and he falls to the ground.Just like that boy had did to me.Speaking of which where did he go?I look to where the girl and boy had been but only see the girls body.Shes still breathing.I look back to the woman.

"I'm confused."I say.And that's the truth.I'm honestly god awful confused.When did my life get so complicated?Oh right,when the lightning struck me.

"Well of course you are darling.Your mother didn't tell you a thing."She says.Well at least she seems nicer then snickering girl.

"Come."She says holding out her hand.I hesitate at first.

"I cant trust you.You killed my mom.And wheres my dog?"I say.

"Oh no sweat pea.We didn't kill your mother.The Grancers did.We're the Monoky.The good guys.Well in our opinion anyways."She says still holding out her hand.I slowly reach for her hand and take it.

She leads me out of the room into a bigger area with many people surrounding us."We'll talk in the car.Oh your mut is in the car too."I flinch as she says that.Mut.

"He's not a mut."I say and then under my breath"If anything all of you are."She seems to notice what I say and glares at me as we exit the building.

"You have the attitude of your mother."She says smiling.A black sleek car is waiting on the road for us.I don't recognize the neighborhood were in.

"My aunt's going to kill me."I mumble as I get into the car.

Once were settled and I have Leo in my lap the car starts to move."Okay first off there are two different types of magiks,Monoky and Grancers.Monoky are more on the light side and Grancers are more on the dark side."We pass several homes and streets and I still have no clue where we are or where were headed."Anyways your mother was confused when she first found out she was a magik and chose the Grancers.Soon she saw she chose wrong and went to the otherside.Us.The Monoky.She got away with it for awhile.She went into hiding and had you and your sister.Your father was also a magik. A Monoky as well.He tried to protect you three by going to call peace or something.It didn't work out and he was killed by them.You lasted a while after that but then they found you.I'm guessing you already know about the storm."I nod.

"Well I'm the Monoky minister.I'm Nora Dell.You didn't get the pleasure in meeting my sister,Grace Dell.The minister of Grancers."She says her sisters name as if it disgusts her.

"How come you can do the same thing that boy can?The thing with making people sleep."I ask.She tilts her head"What boy?"She asks.

"He was there before you came.He had dark brown hair kinda like yours."I say.She sighs."That ,my dear, is my nephew,Corey.Grace's son."
