Unknown Intentions

I am sitting on my bed, reading a bunch of books that Keith brought earlier, then the Speakers announced that it was lunch time and that we should all go to the Dining Hall, So I went to the Dining Hall, there were many people either coming out of their rooms or the workshops

The moment I get there, I felt the feeling that I had the first day of middle school , I didn't know anyone, The front tables are taken and everyone is talking about something. I lined up for the food and I had to go all the way back to find a seat

As I eat, I take a look around at my surroundings, everyone has color coded clothes, there are others that had Black, Blue, Red, Yellow while I, Keith and his mates have color white clothes. I see each pillar has those Televisions that are "as thin as hair" which are pretty old which is pretty ironic since they said the XILs are all about "Thinking Forward" and bringing innovative and revolutionary stuff

I looked at my northeast and I see Keith and his Co-workers and they're whispering to each other as if they're plotting something evil then I look at Keith, I tried to look for his usual mannerisms but they're gone and his eyes, they were different, It's not just simple because he's being serious, I've never seen it before, It just shows how two years can change a person from someone you've spend your whole childhood with to someone you don't even know anymore

After about thirty minutes, Lunch time ended and everyone went back to work or their rooms, I went to my room, I continued reading the books that Keith gave me, I've spent the whole day reading books since there's really nothing to do. Now I'm literally living the dream life of the book nerds with "EAT.READ.SLEEP" mottoes

Before I sleep , I thought to assess myself since I never got time to do so ever since the incident happened, I locked the door and I took my clothes off then looked at myself in the mirror, I looked for places where I felt pain, I looked for any scars or marks , there were no marks, I was perfectly fine

I wore my clothes before I go to bed , Before I fell asleep, I felt something in my right arm, I stood up and turned on the lights and looked at it carefully, It was a kinda rough part that I've never felt before, I think it was a crystal shard that's in there

Although I shouldn't be playing around since I have a crystal shard on my arm , I thought since the shard gave Project " Xynox" It's time abilities , I thought that maybe I'd get time powers or something, so I held out my hand and I thought of me stopping the time and then In a split second It released a colorless pulse, My brain can't process what the color was but I saw it, It was similar when we activated Xynox for the first time and when travelling in time

For a moment I felt lightheaded and then I freaked out a little and thought to myself " I triggered something". I looked at the clock and I waited for it to move, then I checked it's batteries but it's not empty, so I went outside and the people were frozen, So I did stop time...

I looked around, I never actually took notice of this place's interior because I wanted to be alone and I don't know anyone besides Keith, It's very simplistic and it looks good on it's own way, I went to look at the workshops, everyone is busy with something , there are small projects and there are big ones that take up the whole workshop

I looked at what Keith says, is the true Project "Xynox". It's more streamlined, polished and sleek than the prototype one that was in the old library, It was also little bit smaller than the other one and this version has 4 Pods unlike the prototype one that only has 2 Pods and the pods here use a Glass cover unlike the metal one with a hole in the other one

I tried to look for Keith but he isn't here in the Workshop, I looked at every room in the workshop, I looked at his room but he wasn't there, On a side note, his room his very neat, all of his books are properly placed and all of his files are nicely piled

I looked everywhere, I looked at the dining hall, the kitchen, the dormitories and the workshops and I still couldn't find him. There was just one room where I didn't look, It was the Admin's office. Keith said when he guided me through the place that I shouldn't go there unless I was called on by the Admin

So even with Keith's warning, I still went there and he was there, he looked like he was begging something from the Admin and on his name plate it says "John Tannhauser". I wanted to know what they were talking about, so I hid in a closet behind the Admin, I really don't know how to control time, so I held my hand out like in my room and I thought that I want Time to resume then the Pulse went back to me and It gave me a headache and my nose bled but it did resume time

"Please just two more weeks, Please" Keith begged

"The people are expecting the new product released tomorrow" Mr. Tannhauser said

"Please, The Project Xynox is nearly complete and that Crystal is the only missing piece" Keith said

"Fine. But just ONE week, no extensions. One week to collect that Crystal it needs from that Meteorite and you must complete 1 Human Trial before releasing the product" Mr. Tannhauser said

"But we already completed the Human trials" Keith said

"But that was what you said was your "Prototype". There may be something wrong with this version" Mr. Tannhauser said

Keith nodded and said his Thanks and left the room, After that, I didn't know what to do, then Mr. Tannhauser was coming my way, I think he want to get a file, So I held out my hand again and stopped Time, I escaped and went back to my room and then I resumed time, I got a minor headache but I didn't get a nosebleed, Perhaps it intensifies the longer you keep time stopped, After all the craziness that happened, I finally got to go to bed and sleep
