Abnormal Activity

I wake up. there was nothing different in my room, I checked if I can really stop time and maybe all of what happened yesterday was just a wild and weird dream, then I held out my hand and thought of stopping time then it did, so I freaked out, I really just thought that I was fantasizing all of that happened last night. Before I go out, I made sure to resume time and I received a minor headache. I also noted to myself that I should never use my ability to stop time if I don't really need to do it

I go out to the Dining Hall since it's announced that it's time for Breakfast, I went back to my usual spot in the back since there are less people that sit in that part, I eat my food silently and while I eat I look around, I'm looking for Keith but he isn't here, I couldn't find him at any table

After breakfast I looked for him in the hallways but I couldn't find him, so I just went back to my room, I spent the entire morning reading books or pondering about what Keith is doing, with all of this thinking about him, people might as well call me a stalker or something for thinking about him all the time, but it's because he's the only guy I know in this whole facility

Time passed until it was Lunchtime , I went back to the Dining Hall to have lunch but Keith is still no where to be found, after Lunch I went back to my room. Now I'm more intrigued about what is Keith doing, The past days , He was acting strange and he didn't even eat breakfast and lunch today. Being impatient and all, I decided to look for Keith

So I stop time so that nobody could see me sneaking around. I went out of my room and checked at the workshops, but again he wasn't there, So I checked in the Admin's Office but this time he wasn't there but the Admin was there reading some files

I checked the dining hall but there were no people there. I was running out of ideas where he could be, then I remembered I haven't checked his room yet, So I went to his room and he was there, talking to someone on the phone, he looks tired and stressed. Being curious with everything and all, I decided to spy on their conversation, I hid in his closet and then I resumed time.

"No matter what happens, we will go there, we have to get a new crystal piece" Said Keith

then I hear an inaudible sound from Keith's phone

"Then stall the guards guarding it for a moment, when we get there, we promise you, A maximum of um... 15, no, 10 Minutes and we'll get the crystal" Keith Said

then I assume the guy from the other side of the call replied to him

"We'll go there tomorrow, at some time in the afternoon, like at maybe 2 PM"

then I accidentally bumped a bottle which I think was perfume, It fell down and  it caught Keith's attention

"Can you wait for a second" Said Keith as he approached the closet

I had an eye contact with him through the small hold but he doesn't recognize me then I had to stop time again to escape, I left his room as fast as I can and went back to my own room, After I got back, I resumed time again. I was scared that he would catch me or the very least, recognize that it was me, I'm still shaking like a dog after all that's happened

I read books to calm myself down and to kill some time, because there's really nothing to do there for a guest, If I was a staff, I could probably wander around the facility but I can't and I'm restricted to go in most of the places here, even the Dining Hall, I'm only allowed to go there when it's time to eat

Speaking of time to eat, It's dinner time, I should go to the Dining Hall but I'm still freaked out about what happened and Keith may get angry at me for being so nosy, if he knows that it's me. I went to the Dining Hall, I went in line to get my food at the front

When I'm going my way through the back, I notice that Keith is not eating here again, But his colleagues are here eating in their usual spot, Perhaps he's eaten earlier or he's eating on his room. I finished eating my dinner and then I went back to my room then I noticed there was a note on my table and I read it:

"Hey Mark, Meet me by the Entrance, I have something Important to talk to you about - Keith"

After I read it, I started shaking like a wet dog again and my hand became sweaty. Perhaps Keith found out that I was hiding there, I'm scared and I suddenly get thoughts that he would kill me or something, I should still go there and those things are the least likely thing that Keith will do anyways. So I went to the Entrance and I see Keith waiting there looking out by the windows 

"Hey Keith" I call him

"Hey Mark, I'm glad you're here" He said

"So what do you want to talk about? and why here?" I asked

"This is the only place without Security Cams watching so we could normally and I just wanted to tell you that I'm leaving tomorrow" He said

"Where are you going?" I asked

"Remember that Meteorite that hit from like a month ago? My team are going there" He said

"Why?" I asked

"I have to get another crystal, you know the one that I had you to get at my office the other day" He said

"Oh, Okay" I said and nodded

"and also Mark, be careful, There is someone spying on people here, I almost caught one in my closet earlier this afternoon" He said

"Sure, I'll keep my eye on the surroundings" I said even though I know that It was me

Speaking of surroundings , I looked out of the window and I see a man throwing something to our way, It was late when I figured out it was a bomb because the wall was blown to bits, Keith and I were blasted off.

 There were alarms sounding off , I stood up, I see Keith on the other side , then the Man held me and pulled me with him, then I told him to stop then he reveals his face , It was not a he, It was a her and the woman is Mary Klein, the woman that interrogated me

"What is happening?!" I ask

"I came here to rescue you" She said

"Stop!" Shouted Keith

Then Mary pulled out a gun

"I will shoot you! Just let us go" Mary said

"Mark don't come with her!" Keith said

"What is going on?!" I said

 "Keith is plotting something to end peace in the world" Mary said

"That's ridiculous!" I said

"It's true! If they really were just going to release a product then why do they have to hide? I'll explain later, let's go!" Mary said

then that's when I thought of it, all of their weird actions, why did they have to blow up that old library, those weird deals and all the things they went through just for this

"Wait, I'll talk to him first" I said

Walk towards Keith

"Keith, What is she talking about?! and is that true?!" I ask

"If I told you no, you wouldn't believe me anyways" He said

Keith let out a sigh then at that moment, I finally know that the Keith standing in front of me was no longer the Keith I know and had grown up with, It was a different Keith, because the Keith I know would no matter what, Never pull out and point a gun at me.
