Aftermath

I was brought back to present time, Mary came to my aid and unstrapped me from the pod, and gave me first aid as my face is a mess and a have one fractured rib, Keith was gone, they can't find his body, I'm the only one in the machine

The police arrested all of the XILs in the XIL Facility, including their main Admin and Funder, It was revealed that the whole XIL organization is founded to help people build or create illegal things and they were given funds by the XIL Organization

With the LSS in the police station, the one that they used on me earlier, has found the XILs guilty for all of the accusations, they were given 10 years jail time. I was later brought to a hospital to fix my damaged face and that fractured rib

They let me go home to rest, but with all of this mess at my apartment, I didn't want to sleep in my apartment, so I asked Mary if I could sleep at her apartment for just one more night, she agreed and let me sleep in the guest room

The following day, they allowed me ask the XILs questions since It may be very confusing for me right now, So I chose to ask John Tannhauser, the Administrator

"So Admin? or should I call you John?" I said

"I'm no more admin, just call me John" He said

"So John, did you know everything? everything that he's planned?" I ask

"At first he said, that he needs my funds, he said that he'll build a time machine then we could get rid of anyone in our way" He said

"But did you know his true plans?" I ask

"No, I didn't know that he was using me to do what he wants" He said

"But did he tell you something else?" I ask

"He told me that he really wants to see his deceased parents again, he said that's the main reason why he wants to build a time machine" He said

"Okay, New topic. Since you were a lead contributor of information to Keith, I assume you must be very smart, Where could Keith be right now?" I ask

"I don't know, I don't even know what happened or where he went, explain things to me then maybe I can give you an answer" He said

"I don't actually even know, all I know is that, the last moment I heard Keith is that he entered the time machine and It actually worked but I destroyed the machine's chip at the last second then It just imploded" I said

"I can assume that Keith was already about to travel and is actually already on another dimension, just awaiting to be transported" He said

"What other dimension?" I ask

"The machine uses another dimension then It manipulates it to go to certain period in time" He said

"Then?"

"Then Keith is still there, stuck in that dimension, he can't perceive time, he's just there for eternity, until the whole universe collapses or maybe in the future if we get the chance to explore that dimension, we can free Keith" He said

"Alright, thank you John" I left but outside he screams

"Be careful! Keith is an egoistic person! He'll want revenge! If we can find him, He may return here!"

I leave the police station, Mary brought me to the XIL Facility, we got there and we saw all the stuff get burnt, all the plans are burnt so nobody could read them and the Querlintro Crystals were now given more importance by the government since they known it's possible uses

After the the scene, Mary gave me my picture back, the one that I ripped, then she gave me a kiss on the cheek then left saying that they still have lot's to do. After that, I went back home, I finally faced my apartment, I cleaned everything up, the ripped pictures, then the scratch marks on the wall

After cleaning, I fixed the picture with Mary's piece and the pieces that I still have, I sat down on the chair and thought about it carefully. I'm glad I got to stop Keith, I'm glad nothing has changed or have I done anything at all? maybe it's all fate and I was meant to do all those things

then suddenly I feel an ominous entity come up at my back, he came up and whispered

"I told you, that was my last warning"

"Keith?!" I said

He held me and twisted my head.
