Changing Fate

I woke up, It was around 5 AM, I went out of the room, It was still dark but Mary was already awake and she was using her laptop while drinking coffee

"Good Morning, How was your sleep?" She asked with a smile

"It was good, thank you" I said and smiled back

"Do you want some coffee?" She asked

"Sure" I replied

"Go ahead sit down" She said, So I sat down then she gave me a cup of coffee

"Thanks, Do you have some sugar?" I said

"So what should we do today?" She said while passing the sugar

"I don't know, but we should stop Keith from his plans" I said

"Has Keith said or have you overheard anything about Project Xynox?" She asked

"Well, I heard that he said that they were going to the Meteorite where the Crystal were found, He said he'll be there at 2 PM, Do you know where it is? Maybe we can stop him there" I said

"It's at the north, across the mountains, I'll book us a train ride" She said

After that conversation, She bought us train tickets, We finished breakfast and I asked her if I could go back to my apartment and get my stuff and she agreed, I went out of her apartment and walked to mine, Some people are staring at me, maybe they still think that I burned the Library

I got to my apartment, It was a mess, The walls were scratched and written

 "YOU WILL REGRET THAT YOU DEFIED ME"

but he didn't even give me a chance to side with him, he just pointed a gun at me, but I guess even if he did let me choose, I would probably side with Mary anyways because of all that's happening

I looked further into the room and I see pictures of me and Keith when we were little ripped apart, to me, that's very immature of Keith, I get that's he's angry at me and this is a serious thing, but like seriously, probably only a child would do what Keith did. Anyways I took my clothes and put it in my bag and left as fast as I could

I went back to Mary's Apartment, She was about to take a shower, she told me that I should watch TV or something to do while I wait for her, So I watched some News then I watched a trailer of "The Crazily Amazing and Awesome Spider-man", That is so old but people still like it and they keep rebooting it, I mean it's going to be like 200 Years Old in 50 More years

Mary finished taking a shower and she said I should take a shower too as we are leaving at 10:00 and It's already 8:30. I took a shower and while I was showering, I was thinking about Keith, why is he doing this? was there something that pushed him to do this?

After I showered, I got dressed and I told Mary that I'm finished. Mary packed her things in her bag and she hid a gun in case things don't go well, then I also packed my bag, I noticed in my bag that I still have the broken wrist projector, the Camera and the Photo, It's the last photo of me and Keith that is not torn apart

After a few minutes, We left the apartment, Then we drove to the Train station, When we got there, we actually still have 30 minutes before the Train arrives, so I bought us some foods and drinks before the Train arrived. 30 Minutes passed and the train arrived and we took our seats, I also noticed that this train has their seats like a bus, after a few minutes, the Train left

Mary pulled her laptop and said "Hey Mark, I actually researched about that Crystal that you said got into you"

"So what is it?" I said

"It's called a "Querlintro Crystal" found by an Astronomer named Axel Querlintro in 2058, It actually comes to Earth every 13 years but sometimes the Meteorite isn't big enough that It just burns up in the atmosphere" she said

"Then?" I asked

"It is not widely known and is not considered important by the people because they couldn't find use for it, but at 2071, a husband and wife did illegal experiments on it and found that it could manipulate space and time if it was used with the right instruments, obviously not musical instruments, duh" She said

"I know" I said then I laughed

"The couple's claims were disregarded by government, They said they were going to prove it, but they died in a car crash, a month before they could. the couple's relative's identities were never told and everyone  just seemed to forget about them" She said

"That's sad, Anymore info?" I asked

"It says that it is almost indestructible, It protects it's host from danger and it heals it's host although it only works for living things, but besides that, I don't know other stuff. We should probably rest since It'll be 2 more hours before the stop for lunch" She said

We rested and waited, I watched some TV, listened to some music and me and Mary talked about some casual stuff and then I slept for awhile when I woke up, we were already near the stop, at the stop, we ate lunch then we had fifteen extra minutes to roam around the place

After lunch, we went back to the train and we were one hour and thirty minutes away from the destination then Mary and I had a casual conversation

"So what are we going to do when we get there?" I asked

"Maybe we could do like "Stop in the name of the Law!" then we have our shimmering guns out or maybe like from that old movie  called transminator or something , I forgot, It was like "I'm back" in a deep voice then we have so much muscle" She said then we both laugh

"But seriously though, What should we do? We need to be compelling enough to stop Keith from doing this but we should be forceful as well but not too much force that we may alert Keith to instinctively pull out his Gun and shoot us" I said

"Maybe we should..." then I hear an explosion before Mary could finish what she was saying

"What was that?!" I said then I stood up to look at what exploded

then the train suddenly got derailed, the front part of the train fell down first, so Mary and I ran towards the end of the train in hopes that we don't fall with the train. We eventually got to the end of the train, there was a back door and we opened it, but unluckily the train fully got derailed

the train started to tilt vertically, My hand held on to the door and my other hand held Mary

"Don't let go Mary!" I shouted

But as I said that her hand slipped and there she goes screaming and falling to her death. It was time the front part of train reach the bottom of the cliff and it exploded, My hand eventually slipped and I was falling to my death as the Flames go higher from the explosion then I held my hand up...
