What are you supposed to do
When you're not supposed to care
But you feel like you can't stop

On your mind for weeks
How are you supposed to feel

You think you still love them
But you shouldn't
How is it that it's okay
To miss someone for so long
And then not express this to a person
Why is it that people try to remain so strong
Just to try and move on
When everything you look for
In someone else
Is always going to be the one
That you can't get out of your head
Sometimes
The one you want
Isn't the one you need

You don't really need anybody
We create this bridge between want and need
And we forget which side of the bridge is which
We forget what want and need
