If you feel like you need to cry
Then do it
Holding everything inside
Doesn't make you any stronger
It makes your breakdown worse
When it finally comes around
If you remember that he broke your heart
And you feel like you need to cry
Fucking cry
Because you'll wind up crying about it anyway
If you're in the middle of your day
And you suddenly remember his smile
And you feel like you're going to cry
Just cry
Because chances are you're just going to cry about it later
So try and dry yourself out while you can
When you're outside
Feeling the wind slip across your skin
Like long cool fingers
And you think of him
And the way he used to hold you
Just fucking cry
Because you're going to anyway
It's okay to cry
When you think of things
You don't have to keep it inside
You don't have to bury it deep
And let it consume you from within
Because your tears will eat at you
And tear you down
And the longer you wait
The more pressure it builds
And the harder tears fall
So tell me is it worth it
To wait to cry atnight
And if you feel you haven't cried enough
And you need to cry more
Just think more about him
Because I can guarantee
He's the reason you're crying anyway
Think of his smile or his last goodbye
Think of how much you think you miss him
Think of the way you'd hug him close
Think of the way you know you'd do anything to see him happy
Even when you know leaving him be is one of the answers
Think of how you should just leave him alone because you know he can find better than you
Think of the way you never want to talk to him because you know you're both better off that way
Think of the way you force yourself to not want to talk to him
Because that's not really what people usually do afterwards
People aren't supposed to talk like that after
People are supposed to fucking hate the other person afterwards
But for some reason you can't and you can't find out why and it makes your head spin
And if that doesn't make you cryThen think of his kiss
Of his touch
Of the way he lifted your spirits
As if they were never down in the first placeRemember
If you remember him
And you feel you're going to cryFucking cry
Because if you don't do it now
You'll just do it tonightAnd I don't think you want another sleepless night
So please remember
To just cry
